    Hello,

I just started gambling this year after a friend introduce me to craps, usually I just go to Vegas for the clubs and the buffets.

Long story short, I been going to Rincon for the last 14 days and finally made 7 Stars. I played for 20 hours straight on one session.

    1) They said I won't be able to order the Appreciation Gift until April 1, 2015. Can anyone tell me the range of gifts they give out? I'm hoping for a watch or some earrings, but can't access the website yet to see what's available.
    2) I'm going to Vegas next weekend (staying at the NOBU), was wondering if anyone know if 7 Stars gets free entrance to Omnia or Drais nightclub?
    3) What kind of comps can you ask for? I'm aware of free rooms, food, airfare, and limo transportation? Do they cover bottle service or shopping sprees?
    4) I've had pit boss ask me to let them know if I needed anything. What does that mean ANYTHING? What can the pit boss do? Will they go get me a sandwich?

    Thanks!

Since you are 7 Stars after 2 weeks, given the horrible rate at which table players at CET properties earn anything, I'm guessing that you're playing with a fairly significant bankroll ($XX,XXX) each session. I'm surprised a host hasn't come to say Hi and arrange everything you need. Pit Bosses have very little power...they can write up a comp slip, usually with a max of around $100, or they can call a host for anything more. This is what they are referring to when they say "if you need anything let me know". They will not go get you a sandwich, though if you were playing enough they could probably call to have someone bring you one. You don't see tableside dining in Vegas much (except in poker rooms), but like at Barona and I would assume at Rincon you see it all the time. I treated two of my table mates to comp dinner at the table the last time I played baccarat at Barona.

If you have at least a $50K bankroll and you put it up at the cage (or a $50K credit line) then you can usually get a host to give you a $2K-$3K shopping spree without too many hassles. At $100K you'll get $5K shopping spree or cash. Below $50K, don't expect too much in the way of shopping sprees or bottle service. As far as entry to Omnia, this would be through your host but you can pretty much guarantee that you will get at least free entry. Properties vary on airfare. Some require that you lose for the trip or they won't give it to you, and some don't. "Airfare" usually consists of a host walking you up to the cage, signing a slip, and giving you cash at the end of your trip - it's often used as a minor discount for your losses (if you haven't arranged a marker discount up front - which you should call and ask about....many properties won't discount losses below $100K but some will).

Even as a low Diamond, they always ask if I need anything. In reality, for most people, that is a worthless question. They can not get you much of anything. At your level, there will be more. I doubt you will get shopping sprees... maybe bottle service comped.

you need to hook up with a host.

yes, they can cover bottle service at one of their clubs.

no, not shopping sprees or anything else retail

other than AF/discounts that fish mentioned based on CL.

You should reach out to Hunter - he's got a thread on this board - who is a host at PH. He can probably provide you with a lot more information.

Comps are based on your theo. You should know your numbers....time, average bet, theo. Your host should be able to provide those numbers for you.

You asked about the appreciation gifts. Right now we are waiting to see if there is one this year. There is a 7 star appreciation dinner where we are getting a Samsung Tablet. I have been told by my host this is the only gift this year. However, I have read from another person that her host told her we were getting both. In a few days we will have the answers on which it is. Hopefully we will get both gifts as in the past but I have a feeling it is not going to be that way this year. In prior years we received a mailer by now already detailing the new platform, events, experiences for the coming year. So far we have not received anything and we have been told nothing will be mailed and all information will be online on April 1, 2015. Also Hunter the PH host is checking on all of this and he has a thread out there where he is answering questions posted by other TR players.

I've had several Nordstrom's et al shopping sprees in the $2K-$3K range (usually a gift card, which I presume they get a steep discount on). They will do it if you're playing enough.

You should go look at 7 stars insider its a website that list all 7 stars benefits at all the places all over the country and gives some insight
And info for 7 star players.

    Thanks for all the responses!

@ Fish - I've had a host come up to my Rincon, but I am pretty new to the comp world so I didn't really know what to ask her.

@volfaninbama - 7 Stars Insider is such a useful source, I am absolutely in love with the website. I think I read the whole website inside and out, but I couldn't find anything about the range of appreciation gift (but looks like no one else knows until April 1st anyways) as well as if they would comp bottle service (or if bottle service falls under the $500 CET annual celebration dinner).

@cmrvancouver & playallday - Thanks for the recommendation on using Hunter, I'll definitely reach out to him when I get to Vegas as I currently don't have a host there. He seems to be pretty good seeing his responsiveness and feedback from people on teh board

I was at Rincon this past weekend for the month end drawing and the free cruise they were giving out and I finally got a chance to ask the pit boss for my avg bets, etc.He said he had me around ~$700 for that session, but I only play Craps. And I usually play for 6 to 12+ hrs straight.

Thanks for all the feedback. I just didn't know what I could ask for without being laughed out the door, but I think I have a good gauge now, will let you know what I come back with after Vegas this weekend coming up.

One last questions - I see people talking about free play or match offer. Do those come in the mail or e-mails or from hosts? I haven't gotten any other than the daily swipe at the Promotion Table for like $15 bucks and each time I stop by the Total Rewards area they tell me they don't have any offers for me : (

My offers are usually from the total rewards site or via email from them. I don't remember ever getting snail mail. I may get a heads up from a host when something's in the pipes.

It takes a couple of months for offers to catch up with your play sometimes.

    1) I just viewed the gifts. They look the same as last year. You might be able to see them now.

    2) No, but you can ask your host to set you up with someone at the club that will likely take care of you pretty well.

    3) Not sure.

    4) Within reason they'll bring you what you want. I've had sandwiches, cigars, and cheat cards brought to me (from the servers obviously, not the Pit Boss). They'll also find a specific liquor if you have a preference. The Pit Boss will sometimes just write off your cigars and other items as well.

I also play a lot of craps at Rincon. Let me know if you want to meet up there.

My 7 Stars page doesn't have a 2015 appreciation gift showing. It still shows up as 2014 Appreciation Gift. It's not 100% clear, but I've heard the Samsung Galaxy is the only appreciation gift.

Wow. You're a very brave soul playing that long on card craps at the Indian casino. Congratulations on making 7 stars.

@ParadigmGuy: Always looking to meet up with fellow craps player...as long as you don't play the dark side ; )

Card Craps actually isn't that bad...not exactly Vegas, but you'll get over it pretty fast. Besides I was in SD for work...only thing to do *shrug shoulders* : )

Doesn't it kind of throw you off when you throw the dice and it's a 10, but when they draw the cards, it's a 7 out?
