I bought similar tix for night time, but i have to ask.....each of the "cars" (the things that the people get into--not really sure what they're called) has a bar? I mean, obviously your typical "ferris wheel" does not have a bar. Can you or someone explain this to me?

The way that I understand it, there are certain pods are setup with portable bars and a bartender and they will hold your entry into the pods until one of the "bar cars" comes around so you can get in one with a bar.

That's correct. Once you're near the front, they break away the bar tickets into a separate line. I forget how frequent they were, but it seemed one came by every handful of pods.

How many drinks do you think you will have during the 30 minute revolution?

I haven't used their app much, but I already have it downloaded. I'm trying to use it to buy tickets, but it doesn't seem to be recognizing the discount code when I use it. Is the code only applicable for new downloads of the app?

This code was only valid when this was originally posted earlier in March.

    and i'm an idiot.

i didn't look at the date, so i was assuming, wrongly, that this was a fresh, new and exciting post.

that deal ain't going anywhere, and the fledgling living social will offer a discount code again soon..... i can wait.

Does anyone know if it's a full bar or if the drink types are limited? What types of alcohol are available?

Check out the video in post #5 above. It shows the bar, I don't remember what it had but it looked like quite a bit.

They only had two types of beer when I did it. They had most types of liquor and some mixers. They could make a Margarita, but mostly its just a mixed drink, nothing to fancy. They had one type of each liquor. I think they had Jack Daniels, for bourbon.

They served everyone one drink then opened it up for seconds, etc. I got 4 drinks in, but most had 2.

If you get on a pod that's not that full that will help. Also remember there is no bathroom on the pod. One chick was doing the little kid bathroom dance rocking back and forth for the last 2 minutes by the door.
