    Trips to Las Vegas:
    25
Well, what they say is true about the week before any trip to Las Vegas. It is so loooooong. The wife and I usually head down to Vegas at least once or twice per year. We fly straight through from Seattle. This time we are going April 2-5. It will be interesting to be there during the final four. While we have stayed at many hotels on the strip, we have settled on Aria as our favorite and usually stay there. This trip will be no exception. We have a three night comp with 150 FP and 150 resort credit and a two for one show. We may not take advantage of the show credit as we have seen about everything offered over the years except Zarkana, and it holds little interest for us. We do plan to take in Fifty Shades of Grey: The Musical Parody. I hear it is a riot.
Has anyone gone to this show? A little laughter that also gets the juices flowing is not a bad thing imho. LOL

We are slot players mostly with a little bit of craps and BJ rolled in. We do like VP and will most likely give it a try as well. We are renting a car this time so that we can spend an afternoon taking in the Red Rock area and, of course, stopping by the Red Rock Casino. We hear it is pretty nice there. Anyone with some suggestions on where to eat out there? Thanks in advance.

We are pretty adventuresome when we go to Vegas and let our hair down a little. Oh, the stories I could tell. Good times. We have been married for over 25 years and Vegas is a nice booster for us. We do have fun, but nothing off the rails. Well, not too far off the rails. Ok, so we have gotten off the rails a bit. We like to pretty much cover the strip from The STRAT to as far south as the Luxor. We never really go much further. We have hit a few hand pays over the years, but nothing earth shattering and we usually take along a bankroll of about 3-4K for the three nights. We also usually bring very little if any home. I do plan to try and do a TR as I have always enjoyed the ones posted here. Someone in an earlier post described that there is no feeling like the first day in Vegas. I agree. I recall a time about three years ago when we were just checking in at the NYNY and my wife exhaled and said, "why fight it, we just need to live here". I replied that we would "be broke, parking cars, and hating the place after a year". it is a great place to visit, but…..

More later. Wish us luck in our adventure. Hopefully food porn and hand pay porn to come. The long countdown continues. Wishing my life away it seems.
