Have I read on here in the past, posts that there are benefits to staying in the Augustus Tower?

Maybe I misunderstood or misread...I know the location is good for the Spa/Fitness center...thought someone said something about AM Coffee...is it that they have Keurigs? or is there some sort of concierge level service?

It's good if you like Starbucks as it is very close to their elevator bank. There is coffee in the diamond check-in if you are a diamond/7 stars.

CP charges for their Keruig pods in the mini bar. I think they are $12?

Yes, you can bring your own haul of k-pod cups for your coffee drinking pleasure.

I've stayed in the Augustus Tower 10+ times. I think the complimentary coffee and rolls are in the Diamond lounge at the base of the Augustus tower.

Edited: Meant Diamond Check-in, instead of Diamond lounge.

I drank a water like a moron thinking it was free because it was sitting on the counter without any tag or price on it. $6, so watch out. Other than that, I loved the Augustus Tower. Short walks, close to Starbucks. They even have their own taxi stand, even though it's not private, people just don't know about it like they do the front one. Rooms are great, you'll enjoy.

I was in the diamond check in area a few times last week. They had coffee and water out, but I don't remember seeing any rolls. Maybe they were already gone?

asked CP about the Augustus separate check in and they said,

In regards to your email, we no longer have the check-in desk for the located in the Augustus Tower. You will just go to our main check-in area now.

Stayed in the Augustus Tower in December. It was very nice - the separate valet and check in desk was operational. Very convenient location, a quick walk to the strip out of the dedicated valet doors. Room was very spacious and we had a great view of the Bellagio fountains.

It sounds like they closed the dedicated check in desk, which is too bad, as the line when we were there was very short and the staff was very nice.

The separate check in for Augustus Tower and the Diamond check-in are not the same. They are adjacent, across the hallway, but Diamond check-in is still operation and most likely offering coffee/rolls/cookies/water to Diamond guests.

The valet is only for 7 stars as of the first of the year.

Until recently the separate Augustus registration area had the complimentary coffee & rolls available for guests. It now has been reported by members here that those amenities have now been discontinued. Too bad cuz that was a real treat every morning.

Do Diamond members still automatically get upgraded to the Augustus tower?

The first time I stayed at Caesars, about 5 years ago, I got a free upgrade to Augustus, along with six complementary water bottles and a huge basket of exotic fruits. The most recent time (2-3 years ago), I got the upgrade, but no free water or fruit.

I believe there are many factors considered when your room is assigned. Availability, time of checking, requests from host, tier status, etc. Diamond status will not guarantee a room in the Augustus tower.

you can request a tower with a host but you are not guaranteed... im a 7 star member and have stayed at the octavious tower once which was nice but i prefer the augustus tower, its just as nice but way less walking.

I was planning a trip at the end of january 2015 and appearantly because i waited a lil too late to book and being around superbowl, all they offered me for a comped room is the roman tower or other caesars properties. I cancelled that reservation

now, i will be out for the mayweather fight in may, I booked that room and requested the augustus tower, as busy as that weekend will be, i had no problem getting thursday-monday comped.

as for a diamond member its upgrade to best available room at check in, that is not reserved for someone else
