Back in town for a few weeks and would like to golf a round or two. Wife doesn't golf so I am looking for partner.
I am a bogey to double bogey golfer. I am delighted with a par. I am not a long hitter is my problem. Par 4's
take me 3 hits for the green. Anyway I would like someone who is the same type or doesn't mind golfing with someone
lacking the great golf gift as a partner,

Not sure if they allow two-some or we would be paired with another two but at least I would have one player who would
know in advance my skill level. I hate to disturb a 0 handicap golfer watching me hack a few from time to time. I think you
golfers understand what I am saying.

I am open to any golf course but it doesn't have to be a 5 star course for me.

never hurts to make a new friend

BTW I live close to Sante Fe casino but I can travel anywhere in town

Not getting back to Vegas until around mid April. Will you still be in town?

Tom, I won't be in town until Oct, but would love to team up with you.
I'll try to contact you when the time gets closer.
I usually play Rhodes Ranch and Wildhorse.

Rhodes Ranch, I like the layout. Great service. Price depends on what I can fandangle on the internet. ($60 ish) If you live locally I'm sure you can get a better deal being a LV resident.
Check my countdown and let me know, we'll tee it up!!

Tom, if you've played other Ted Robinson-designed courses, and I'd say we all probably have, you'll know RR before getting out there. That's not necessarily good, that's not remotely a slam; he just had a distinct design pattern that played out of over hundreds of real estate golf properties. Double-front fairways, palm trees, corralling shoulders and the signature watery par 3s. I'd say it is a better play for locals than visitors given the competition out there.

OK then writer man. Being a once a year tourist, a bogey golfer and capping green fees at $80. What would you recommend?

    Playfully sarcastic!!

Tuscany is about that price. It all depends what time of year you are visiting.

Primm. Twi rates at Coyote Springs and Paiute a good hunk of the year. Boulder Creek. Then there's all the golfnow and related programs.

Show me some affordable golf. Pretty please.

I'm used to 18+cart for $20-30 at the "nicer" places in Iowa.
