    Hello,

I'm looking for some iOS apps to help me learn the best play for Blackjack and Video Poker and maybe Craps. I don't mind paying for them if they are good quality.

I've currently got the app Blackjack Trainer, though while this is okay, it doesn't expand on your error and why your play was bad. It also doesn't show you what to do after you've played your first hand which isn't great if your first two cards are a 4 and 6, for example.

Video Poker one is self explanatory, looking for an app where you can change payouts etc and again, it explains to you where you went wrong.

For craps, I'm looking for an app where I can play around with bets, especially the place bets and come bets so I can get more familiar with the odds involved. (Not bothered about 'perfect strategy' just more of a learning tool.

    Thanks in advance

For Video Poker, type Robert Suh Video Poker and purchase the $4.99 version (all games are single line). Also, Videopoker.com has a great app with every possible game, however, you have to pay separately for each individual game type which can be expensive.

I got the Blackjack Strategy Practice Trainer from WFT Productions which is pretty good. It shows your cards with the dealers up card and you have to choose the correct play between HIT/STAND/DOUBLE/or SPLIT. It allows you to customize the rules.

For VP I like the Video Poker Wizard, By Wizard of Odds.

You can change pay tables. When you don't make the right play it shows the options.

The app from VideoPoker.com is awesome. It's true that each game needs to be unlocked if you more than Jack or Better. For the most part you should be good with the single line game king as it would have the correct strategy that would apply to games like regular multline, super times pay, spin poker, etc... But if you like exotic games like Ultimate X or Quick Quads you need to buy those as they have different strategy. This app has gotten my JoB play to about 99%, Bonus Poker not far behind and DDB in mid-90's and rising. It's fun practice. I like to set myself up with a realistic number of credits, like 400 and imagine I'm on a quarter machine for $100.

I have the very generically named Winner Blackjack app from GameCenter. tells you suggested moves with you mess up and also has tournament play (that's why I got it, to practice tournaments).

Using BJ Mentor for blackjack, but like some other trainers, it only drills you on the first decision. I'd like to be able to play complete hands. You can adjust the strategy tables if you want, and you can drill on different types of hands (soft, hard, pairs).

    For VP, I use WinPoker.

I current use Video Poker Expert on my android phone but am not sure if it is available on IOS. It allows you to pick you game and create a custom hand and provides the expected return for each possible combination of held cards. Has anyone else used this app and determined if it is accurate?

    Thanks!!

Do any of these apps have the option of inputting your own 5 cards and paytable and seeing what the best hold is?

Casino Verite has 2 iOS apps. One is for drills and the other simulates games. Not the cheapest but his programs are considered the nest. Go to qfit.com

I haven't used it much, but when I've used it, it's not been out of line.

You can use this on your phone too, and I can definitely vouch for its accuracy.
