    My Trip Report

Arrived in Vegas around 10:30 am. Shuttle to Caesars for my home base. Rooms at Palazzo and Hard Rock as well so I can use free play/offers.

Cashing out at Tuscany. Lost my match play but still came out $10 ahead.

Won about $40 at silver 7ens using free play. Also ate at the buffet for lunch. Nothing special but it was free.

    Silver Sevens Limo

Room at Hard Rock. Terrible view. Not impressed with their rooms. Won my $25 free bet and used my $30 dining comp in the coffee shop taking some drinks and snacks with me. [IMG]
Pool at HRH. Lots of young people around the pool and in the casino.

Hard Rock! Whoo-hoo... hardly ever gets a mention on the VMB. Looks like you had one of the standard Casino Tower rooms on a low floor either facing the pool or worse... facing the Harmon/Paradise intersection. Those are the oldest rooms on the property, though they've been recarpeted, etc., they've been partied in hard and have really small, old-school bathrooms. I much prefer the Paradise Tower for usually the same price or the HRH Tower for a small upgrade fee.

Hope you have a fantastic trip and win some $$$!!!

Continuation of last night. Bear with me as I'm using my ancient iphone4 to post.

Walking from the HRH to Hooters west bound on Tropicana near the airport.

Used some free play and a match play at Hooters. I was using my match play at BJ. Dealt 10, 4. Playing first base. Two other players. Dealer showing 6. Guy next to me has hard 16. TAKES A HIT! Gets a 3. Other guy stays. Dealer turns a 5 for 11 then a 10 for 21. Gave that guy the dirtiest look. I know it's not a team game but come on. Didn't win a match play all day. Ended hit a couple spins on WOF $5 and cashed out up 600. Used my points to get a hat, coozie, and deck of cards. Went and played bar top vp. Ended up cashing out up another 80. Used my points again for another hat, shot glass and coozie.

    Cabbing it back to Caesars.

    Total from Hooters to Caesars.
Hit the diamond lounge for a quick beverage and a snack.
Went to the room and soaked in the jetted tub. I was beat after all the walking. [IMG]
Free snacks left for me in the room.

Got ready and headed to Harrahs to get tickets for a show with the monthly diamond offer. It was already 8:45 so not many choices. Decided on divas at the linq. Pretty good show. Place was packed!
Headed to Palazzo to check in.
    Room at Palazzo.

Decided to walk down to the riviera and grab some chips since it's closing. Hit the Wynn on the way losing a $100 and peppermill losing another $100 both on VP.
Played a match play, some bar top vp and WOF at the rib with no luck.
    [IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Bar top VP at RIV.

Walked back to the Venetian and hit the grand lux for a BBQ chick pizza which was pretty good. Thought about staying at palazzo but walked back to Caesars and called it a night.

Yeah it was in the casino tower on the third floor. Room smelled of heavy cleaner and had a view of another building.
Not a big deal since I wasn't staying it. I'll take note in case I ever stay there again.
There's a place across the street called Kaizen Sushi where I've had a few late night meals. Pretty good sushi and open super late.

I've eaten at Kaizen MANY times! It's VERY good and doesn't break your bankroll. NOBU in Hard Rock is OK, most LOVE it, but I'll go across the street to Kaizen overtime I'm in a sushi mood. Couple good food joints in that same strip center. Ferraro's on the corner is one of my favorite Italian places and Cappriotti's makes a mean sub-sandwich.

Late start to the day. Didn't get up until about 2:30 pm. I had been up for close to 30 hours straight and after all that walking yesterday I was done. Met up with some cousins that live in town at Paris and bought them some lunch/dinner at la boulangerie sp? I think at Paris. I had the BLT which was good and filling. Played some three card before meeting them and lost a little. After our meal I played a little more 3 card and got my money back and then some. Went over to the diamond lounge at Paris. Sal, one of the bartenders there has to be one of the best bartenders I've encountered. Very personable.

Irish Long Island was there special drink today. Mmmmm tasty. Not usually a sweet drink guy but this was good and doing the trick. Wings and cheese balls were the hot snacks of the day.

So agree with you about Sal at Paris DL. He is the nicest guy and makes sure you get taken care of - maybe too well - LOL!

If he is working - we always sit at the bar. DH will order a mudslide and when it gets less than halfway empty- he is filling it up.
He will give us a full drink in a large cup to go too!! THE BEST BARTENDER!!!

Played some more at Paris losing at WOF. Walked over to Bally's via the tunnel and say down at another 3 card table. A few people came and went at the table. I was up and three guys sat saying they didn't do well earlier. Figured it was my time to go. [IMG]
Slightly better pic of the drink at Paris DL.

Fountains were going off at Bellagio but it's a crappy pic. Headed to O'sheas to see what's going on then to the room to shower. Need to use my diamond dinner tonight or tomorrow. Probably going to eat at Ruth's Chris since I've never been to one.

O'sheas was pretty packed especially in the new ally that goes to the High Roller. Stopped at the Flamingo DL for a drink before heading over.

Sat down at a 3 card table at O'sheas. Dealt jack, 9, 4 off suit. Threw it in. Dealer turns over 3 nines. Off course I had $10 on pair plus and ante and only $5 on the bonus. Same thing earlier at Bally's. Had two 6's. Dealer had the other two. I usually play $10 across. Oh well. A wins a win. Cashed out and went to get ready for dinner.

Today's shirt from the original O'sheas before they closed.

Nice drink holder in the showers at Caesars.

Might be the last post for tonight. More on dinner at Ruth's Chris and tonight's adventures tomorrow.

+1 - it just seems a waste to not be drinking at all times. If I could get someone to hold it while I'm sleeping...

Great report so far and thanks for all the pics - I like the angle on the Bellagio/Aria pic with the fountains.. good luck the rest of your trip!
