    Hey there everyone-

On my first stay at the Cosmopolitan, I got completely hooked on (what I found to be) the incredibly convenient self-parking. I was in town for a full week and was in and out of the hotel quite often due to the ease with which I could park and retrieve the rental car. Easy and free self-park, a short walk to the elevators, and bam you're at the room.

I'm hoping that the seasoned travelers here can correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see ANY other resort being as convenient if your vacation plans include little gaming but much driving around and sightseeing.

I was feeling like trying somewhere different, but the combo of virtues that the Cosmo has is tough to beat.... suggestions?!?!?!

I found self-parking at the Palazzo really easy, and it's a short walk to the elevators from the garage.

Ballys/Paris was pretty easy even on a Saturday night. Went up to 5th floor and walked maybe 40 yards to the elevators.

I believe Encore is also pretty convenient in that regard, since it's only a short walk from the free parking lot to the check-in/check-out booth, and the hotel rooms are right behind the check-in/check-out booth.

I'd probably have an easer time telling you who is the worst haha... so here

    BAD
Planet Hollywood (winner by a clear mile, so difficult, you have to walk through the ENTIRE mall)
MGM (odd shaped garage with the walk way in the middle, and then you gotta walk through that sad underground shopping.. but once you get in the hotel it's not far. Their valet is a mess too because the hotel is so big)
Aria (extremely far from check in.. clear at the other end.. still pretty far for the rooms)
Flamingo (They don't have enough parking, and the walk is pretty long... also its the most disgusting garage on planet earth.)

    GOOD
Venetian and Palazzo are easy. For such huge properties the parking garage is in a good spot.
Paris - Is easy, that property I find to be fairly compact so it's an easy walk.
Mandalay - I always find it fairly easy here. BUT sometimes they have large events making parking hard to find. It's a little far, but considering the size of the place I don't think it's terrible.
Hard Rock - easy walk from the garage to the paradise tower

I find Monte Carlo particularly easy, short walk to connect to the hotel, and seems to have significant availability on weekends. It's a little worse with the arena construction though to get to/from it.

Parking at the Palazzo is very simple, I can park right next to the escalator which will take me right up into the casino floor. The luxor also has a simple parking lot. I also like the Belagio parking lot, easy to get into the casino, only a few steps from your car.

I thought the Cosmo parking was neat because it has sensors on each stall, when you go into the lot it tells you how many stalls are available on each level. There is also a green/red light above each stall to indicate whether it is available or taken. Great as you don't have to keep circling to look for an open stall. Bad because I notice that some cars and trucks take up 2 stalls so the indicator may be green but the stall is taken. :Þ

The Wynn has a similar parking setup with indicators on how many stalls are available on each level but I didn't like having to navigate my way to the casino (not sure if that got changed since it's been a few years since I parked there - I usually park at the Palazzo when I'm in the area).

The "Unofficial Guide to Las Vegas" says TI is easy.

So far, these are all big name center Strip locations. None of the places mentioned up to now is easily reachable at certain times of day, especially the ones accessed from the Strip. In fact, nothing with self-parking one must access from the Strip would make my list. After all, convenience involves more than the walk to the room. Also, distance from the car to the check-in desk is not that important since you check in just once.

Of the ones mentioned so far, Palazzo wins for me because you can get to the deck from Koval/Sands and it's a compact hotel with easy access to elevators.
