    Hi All-

At the risk of sounding shallow and like a mindless "girl", the outfits I wear when I'm planning a Vegas trip are something I seriously consider and map out prior to going... I craft "looks" specific to what I'll be doing, where I'll be and the time of day. I can't help it, I'm a girly girl... and nothing makes me feel LUCKIER than looking good while visiting a place I love!

We are visiting in April, for a celebration of sorts, and I've finished curating my "looks". I get pretty detailed down to hair and makeup too... what can I say, I like pretty stuff.

Here's what I've got planned for the trip:

Day 1- Flying in & Dinner at CUT (and of course, gambling, at Palazzo where we will likely stay)

    a2f4fe64dc98760821246ff7189e2409.jpg Day1Night.jpg Day 1 Eyes.jpg Day 1 Hair.jpg

Day 2- Early Canyon Ranch spa day, gambling, walking around some, shopping maybe and dinner at e by Jose Andres at Cosmo, more gambling

    18fc084151e0e9aff5164cb4985c2664.jpg day2night.jpg Day 2 Eyes.jpg Day 2 Hair.jpg

Day 3- Gambling, walking around, and Dinner at NOBU and Karaoke at Harrah's (we love karaoke and always go to the Piano Bar at Harrah's for it), more gambling

    Day 3 Day.jpg day 3 night.jpg Day 3 Eyes.jpg day 3 hair.jpg

Day 4- Early Canyon Ranch spa day, gambling, dinner at Carnevino, more gambling

    Day 4 Day.jpg Day 4 Evening.jpg Day 4 Hair.jpg Day 4 Eyes.jpg

Day 5- Early breakfast at The Omelet House on Charleston, some gambling, fly home

    Day 5.jpg

So does anyone else plan out their outfits?

    Have a Lucky Day,

    -MrsFuri

I'm so happy that I'm not the only one who obsesses about my outfits in Vegas. Your outfits look super cute, and hot! I like to bring 2 outfits per day - one for during the day, and one for evening plus whatever I need for workout clothes. I also like to get a blow out before I fly out, and usually another while I'm in Vegas. I've been better the last few trips about paring down the number of shoes. I think these are going to be my evening shoes for this next trip, and surprisingly they are not as uncomfortable as you would think given the heel height:

For me, the outfits are definitely part of the Vegas experience. Have fun!

I do! Not quite to that level of detail (nice outfits btw), but yes! I have a retro shirt for bowling day ready. Still planning the Shark Reef outfit, the flight to Vegas outfit, and the night on the High Roller outfit. Also have to figure out how to bring the bling to a day in the Valley of Fire.

Ladies getaway, somewhere on the strip with a pool :)

I knew at least one person would appreciate this post :) Glad to know I'm not alone, as well!

I still can't get down the number of shoes I bring, but I'm a very efficient packer, I can get it all in one suitcase, usually (a large one). I love those shoes... perfect for a night in Vegas, but comfort IS key... I'm sure you've had the blisters, man, the things we go through to look great!

When is your next trip, Katmu?

I like the "I'm going for a jogging but not really" outfit. I always see these at the mall. :D

Thank you Caroline! Yay! I'm sure glad I'm not the only one who does this... I did shark reef in a cute floral dress and jean jacket with some wedges. I haven't done Valley of Fire, so you'll have to let me know what you go with!

    Have a LUCKY trip! :)

Ha! Thanks :) It's my fly home outfit and I figured, what better than workout clothes... that I won't be working out in. Really, that's my "go-to", it's just so comfy! HA!

I'm trying to decide based on when I can work in a short 3 night Vegas trip given my work schedule the next couple of months. I'm looking at either one of the last 2 weekends in April or the weekend of May 15th.

You should wear whatever your husband tells you to wear.

Then go make him a sandwich.

I'll go ahead and say it ... it's fine to over-pack!

Your April trip looks fantastic. I'm no fashion maven, but the itinerary sounds really fun. Going to e is a really special experience ... just so much fun and very cool. Great lineup of restaurants.

If it were up to him, I'd just be naked then and playing craps naked would be, you know, awkward.

    :) :)

    Thanks DannyOcean!

Can't wait to try e, it's been on our list for some time... Have you been? The others, we've been to and enjoy. I'm really looking forward to it :) The only things I really plan are restaurants and spa (for reservations) and outfits... the rest, we play by ear and what feels right. Usually works out well... Viva Las Vegas!

there's an old joke about a woman shooting the dice naked.

A very attractive blonde from Ireland arrived at a casino.

She seemed a little intoxicated and bet twenty-thousand dollars on a single roll of the dice.

She said, I hope you dont mind, but I feel much luckier when Im completely nude'.

With that, she stripped from the neck down, rolled the dice and with an Irish brogue yelled,

Come on, baby, Mama needs new clothes!' As the dice came to a stop, she jumped up

and down and squealedYES! YES! I WON , I WON ! She hugged each of the dealers

and then picked up her winnings and her clothes and quickly departed.

The dealers stared at each other dumbfounded.

Finally, one of them asked, What did she roll?

The other answered, I dont know I thought you were watching.
