    Hey all,

This is in the early planning stages: But I'm looking for a cheap hotel for July 4-5. For that one night I don't really care about amenities.

In the past we have stayed our first night downtown around Freemont. I'm not too familiar with the hotels in that area. We've stayed at the Golden Nugget but those rooms are over $100 for that night. I see that GG is about $100 and same with 4 Queens.

Can anyone point me towards a cheap room for that night?

    Thanks?

Main Street Station has the 4th of July listed as $70. I've never stayed there but I'm sure it's fine just based on the property itself

Do you want strip or downtown? I am confused. Does it have to be a resort casino or just a room?

Just looked on priceline the golden gate is $69 per night. Grand is $79..

Cheapest on strip is SLS at 119

It could be either downtown or strip. Thanks

    But we need 2 beds.

I did not dig that deeply but these are not name your own price options. You can choose a bed type with the majority of these reservations.

I'd really like to be well under the $100 mark...maybe it's not possible.

The room at the Flamingo is about $130 that night - so I want it to have a savings if I am going to move rooms.

When I searched the options listed above they were pricing out with 2 at around the $100 mark.

If you are a bconnected member (boyd hotels) I found MSS for $135 total for 2 nights (not including taxes). You can select 2 queen beds and it comes out to $152.55 for everything (that's the total price you will pay). Same price for the Cal and Fremont. I'm a lowly ruby cardholder so you may get better offers if you are sapphire or emerald.

You should book them quickly because sometimes they don't allow Saturday night arrivals or Saturday might sell out quickly. Best to book and and cancel if you get a better offer. They will automatically charge the first night when you make your reservation.

I just checked on Kayak.com, most rates are over $100 a night (when you include taxes and resort fees) for downtown hotels.

I've been to Vegas during early July so many times...100*+ heat...fuuuck that.
Last year we went to Mission Bay San Diego for 4th of July...beautiful weather...this year were doing Lake Tahoe fireworks.
but yeah, a lot of places will be around $100 (because it's so hot)
