Will be staying at Mirage in two weeks and curious if they have added many new slots since our last stay in December?
Any favorites there that you always play with some degree of luck?

Sure wish they would replace all those slots in the area I call the 'dark zone' area with some exciting new slots - the area where you first enter the casino from the main lobby and turn left - all those on the left side from the entrance down to the deli - for some reason it seems darker and dungeon like and I've never had one iota of luck in that entire section..... but that section has one of the nicest day shift cocktail servers ever - she's our favorite - so we often play there just to visit a bit with her each trip....she makes our day - so pleasant and efficient - makes us feel at home!

I've stayed at Mirage my last 3 trips and it seems that the slot selection really doesn't change too much. It's kind of disappointing, actually so much so that I am trying MGM for my next trip in a few weeks. The dark zone is ALWAYS the same for sure....

There are a few new slots that I saw when I was there. I noticed some changed on the floor but I suppose it is possible they moved some slots around. I know they had an Ellen DeGeneres slot and a few other I had not seen recently.

They moved some brighter/shinier video games into that dark zone area, but I haven't had any luck with them either. My wife has hit a few $100-200 payouts in that area but I don't ask her how much went in ;P

LOL - wise fellow - 'don't ask' policy works well in Vegas....

BTW - a good friend of mine just returned from Vegas; said she had pretty good luck on a penny slot "Zeus III" at Mirage - betting $1.50, hit $930, and 40 minutes later on the same machine hit $420. (located between the buffet and Portofino). No idea how much went in :)
