    hi folks,

Last December I got hooked on the .25 BP 3 line machine at MSS. I also enjoyed playing the 7/5 DSTP BP at TI for nickels.

3 line STP/DSTP at quarters is a bit rich for my blood. Anyone have suggestions on nickel STP/DSTP downtown? I realize it will be short pay.

    thanks!

I know that the el cortez has a few in the middle section where you come in from valet. There is a bunch of different video poker varieties and these are mixed in with them. They are 5 cent, 10 cent, and quarter I believe, 3 5 and 10 play

I can tell you that Plaza, as of Feb, had no STP of any denomination.

MSS has it...but for nickles, you're going to find 8/5 JoB and 6/5 BP..I think there MAY be a couple with 9/5 DDB, but mostly 8/5 DDB...

Pretty sure Fremont also has it for nickels.

It's definitely on their all star II units for sure, but paytables were typical ~97% on those. I missed downtown again unfortunately this trip! Ugh.

Also keep in mind Doug, you never have to play all the lines to bet 6/7 per line at STP/DSTP. On my recent trip (TR coming shortly), I played a lot of one line STP on 3 play machines. I'd personally play one line with the higher paytables if you can afford 6/7 quarters. Although Double STP is nearly non existent downtown. It's often on any All Star Poker II machine though.

Thanks for all the replies. I'll scout out El Cortez and Fremont/MSS.

@tringlomane - good point about playing single lines. I do enjoy 3-line, but if the nickel paytables are ~97% then I agree that quarter single line may be the way to go.
