    My Trip Report

March 3rd - Travel Day and pre trip thoughts - After reading so many awesome reports, I figured it was time to give back hopefully with a trip report of my own. I hope I can do justice to some of the awesome reports on here. I will try to do the best I can using tapatalk and iPad so I apologize upfront if i fail miserably.

While this winter has not been terrible precipitation wise here in NJ, it has been cold enough, and given the picture from above from this past Sunday and the 1/2 inch of sleet and ice we received, heading to LV was all the more anticipated. Swapping Sleet and ice with a High Temp of 29, for Mostly Clear and a High Temp of 60 sure sounds nice.

The plan is to head out on a late afternoon flight from Philly arriving around 8:30 LV time and heading to 1 night at PHO before moving to Palazzo tomorrow. Forecast for later today is another ice storm for Philly so fingers crossed we make it out and this report is not a dud before it even begins. Next post hopefully from 30,000 feet using in air wifi. Thanks for checking in....

Flight is supposedly on time. Currently rain and some sleet, crossing fingers it holds up...

I use a app called FlightStats. You can get alot of information about your flight as well as all of the destinations for your flight number. Therefore, if there is a delay it usually shows up before the airline tells you about it. At the very least you can track the inbound plane that you are about to get on.

I got it because I was tried of spending most of my time at the airport. This has saved me more that once.

I will be leaving for Vegas on Thursday to attend the Nascar Weekend.

Good luck and have a fun Trip.

    Thanks for the well wishes.

While we wait to de-ice still, I figured I would put down my thoughts on what you may expect over the next three days. Then thinking about it, it is funny how many of us have similar plans for each trip that most often than not do not survive the first night or morning being in vegas. I am most certainly like this.

Anyway, at least I will have a base line to compare to how miserably I fail at each item. With a trip later next month planned, the Bankroll is a bit lower than a normal spaced trip, but I am hopeful to not have to use any markers and only use the bankroll we brought over the three days.

We play mainly Craps and VP with the wife flirting with slots as well. Having stayed at the Palazzo in the past and not having had the most success at these V/P properties, we are hopeful to have some better luck at Craps and have at least several hand-pays on the VP. Over the past several trips Aria has treated us well in this department so we are hopeful to have better luck at V/P the same way.

Being East Coasters, we are usually up and out of the room by 3:30 - 4:00 am each morning, just in time to catch many or the walk of shames by the clubbers and late night gamblers. This is one of my favorite parts of vegas, I do not know why exactly but people watching is extremely enjoyable in a place like vegas where inhibitions are lax.

We plan to visit PHollywood (staying there the first night if we ever get off the ground here in Philly), then visit Aria, Bellagio, Wynn, and maybe down to the Luxor/ Mandalay Bay area sometime, as well as our 3 night stay at Palazzo. Hope to have many pictures and exciting hits to share.

Dinners are planned for Prime, Mario Batali Burger Place and Giadias, so I will try and give some impressions and maybe some food porn as well.

Thanks for the well wishes again and for checking in!

Enjoy your trip. I used Tapatalk a few years ago to do a live TR here, it was nice to add things on the go as they came to me so I did not have to remember. Keep us updated.

After adding $1,000 to the buy in, the and bumping up to $25 pass and $15 come with full odds, the table was choppy for one rotation, and after sitting on the plane for 7:15 total time I was toasted for the day so I ended the session with $300 left. Thanks again for the good luck wishes and may the dice always land on pairs for everyone.... More tomorrow.
