Received a few emails from my CET host lately expressing a desire to help plan my next trip etc . So I said to myself , I need a trip to LV to escape the brutal Michigan winter . Emailed said host , with my trip plans requesting my usual 5 nights comped for late April . I received a message back that the first night would be $48.00 the last four comped . WTF ? My CET play has increased every year ! I go on line to check from my end , and I have 5 nights comped including a high floor end room .
I email her back asking why her offer doesn't match mine online , and she states that she does not have access to my offers and that since mine is better I should book it !
An executive host doesn't have the ability to get me the best offer that I am qualified for ? I am at a loss for words .
Anyone out there ever have a similar experience , or am I just dealing with an incompetent host ? Bob

This is simply what Caesars players demanded. Loveman circa 2013.

Sometimes dealing with an idiot is not worth it.

    Just my guess.

If YOU can see an offer, than she should be able to see it. Time to escalate or get a new "Exec host"

I've had similar experiences with them, although not recently (last 2 years probably). I've contact my old host of PH and I was getting quoted rates that were terrible compared to the comp offers that I could book myself. I just figured I wasn't host-worthy or they realized they could save money if I booked offers myself online. Of course, I ended up moving to Palazzo for a while but they've since won me back. Still annoys me a bit to this day though.

Straight BS!! Are you sure it's an actual host and not a sales/marketing executive? If it's a host, he/she should have full access to your account and see what offers you have.

    Happens all the time.

My host tells me about players who call with an offer from marketing and he won't book it. He tells them to call VIP services to book it. He knows it's way above their comp level and if he books it he's on the hook for their play/comp ratio.

Yup, happened to me so I never use hosts anymore. Had three separate trips where hosts screwed up reservations that I could have done myself online. In the end, found something better just sitting in my account anyway.

Hey easy Money , her title is "Executive Casino Host " .
The real kicker in all of this is this paragraph from the last email she sent me :

The following; is my information so, Please do not hesitate to call

or email me when you are ready to make your next arrangements.

I would be more than happy to help assist you.

Hey Shifter , I believe that the Executive host assigned to you gets credit for the $$$ generated by your trip , whether they actually book the trip or you book it . And if a trip offered was way above the comp level , wouldn't such over comping soon go away when you don't meet the expectations of the offer . My offers have not changed for years . Bob
