Yes, goes back to what I was saying, and their apathetic staff, and bad comping. I too have gone away with feeling guilty, and on several occasions had a limo that was suppose to be comped, not comped and they had to call the casino to confirm, just stupid stuff like that which pisses off gamblers. Cosmo just doesn't cater to gamblers. I wish Steve Cyr (who directs clients to them) would take charge of their player development.

Just got back from Cosmo. Really hope the gambling gets better, but the place is still awesome. I'm gold simply from a bunch of resort spending since I head over to Cromwell to do most of my gambling. One of the bar tender hinted that the dancing girls at Bond are on the way out, and it looks like all that free top shelf liquor is eventually gonna go bye bye.

They did recently just change the stay on soft 17 in the high limit which is a small improvement. They need to make more adjustments and implement them faster if they want to grow the revenue.

Having just seen this thread, I can say we are staying at Cosmo in April, ( might switch to Palazzo thought) due to the host we had at Aria, moving over to Cosmo and contacting me to see if we would give them a shot. Given our level of play (which is way lower than you guys) and the days we are staying there are the weekend of the Fight, (actually leaving the day of the fight) and rates for terrace room are now at like $650 a night, the fact that we got a comp room, I can only imagine they are trying to change their gambling comps to attract more play given we only ever received reduced rates offers for some extended play in the past. PPhold and Packer, at their levels should be getting much better comps if this is indeed the trend. This host has always covered our meals as well when we stay at Aria, so maybe he will not have that latitude to do that at cosmo, but man if you guys are not getting RFB something is out of whack there.

Hopefully it is changing as they try to attract more players, or I could be totally off the rails.

Bottom line...no matter how many pools, nightclubs and gimmicks they use to entice people,it is still gambling that gives them biggest bang for their bucks.....they need .ore gamblers to make their bottom line better....

Not when they can sell a $10 bottle of vodka for $500.

But they don't own Marquee. Tao Group does. Blackstone would much rather make modifications to the property to generate gambling revenue.

Exactly. And it's compounded by the fact that it's very easy to get into Marquee without ever setting foot on Cosmopolitan's casino floor.
