Would you book Allegiant right now?

So Allegiant finally has their flights posted for September but I'm a little leery of booking because of this potential pilot strike. The only information I can see online about this is from last month and just says that they have voted in favour of striking if mediation doesn't work. No real timelines. My other alternative to Allegiant is about $500 more so I'd really like to go with them. With taxes and fees the total would only come to $158. Would you book?

Here's a quote from the following article. I hope they don't strike, I'm booked for a Mar 26 and Mar 30 flight. Flights are booked and payed for.

Round Trip for $158? Are you sure that is with all the extra fees that Allegiant throws at you? I always price in an extra $45 bucks(each way) when comparing an Allegiant flight.

If that is the bottom line, I would book it.

It's very possible that is with the fees included. I paid $176 and that's with an additional $28 for exit row seating. Take out the exit row seating and would be $148

Of course I would book. If there is a strike then ask for a refund. Do not book a non refundable room. Problem solved.

I'm sitting and waiting...because I don't have any firm dates yet.

I was hearing that by the end of Feb they would be reaching some type of decision...not sure how accurate that is.

For a price under $200 I'd probably book the flight and a refundable room.

Thanks everyone! That price was just too tempting so I booked today.
