Will be staying at 4 Queens for a night (really late night, getting in at 10pm) and then Monte Carlo. Looking for $5 buy-ins on craps if they're available.

I think Excalibur still runs a $5 min table regularly...

Thanks! We'll see how a three-way Molly does for this low-roller.

While you're downtown it'll be easier. MSS had $5 last time I was there and I think Golden Gate did as well.

I've never seen $5 tables on the strip. Lowest is always $10

I've seen $5 tables at CET properties on weekday mornings.

Never? I've seen $5 at the following places in the past couple years :

    Excalibur
    Mirage
    Casino Royale
    Harrah's
    Caesars Palace
    Riviera
    Tropicana
    Hooters
    Linq

Hours and nights vary but I've had good luck at at least a few of those places even on weekend nights. From that list, only Caesars and Mirage were strictly in the morning. All of the others I have found $5 at night anywhere from occasionally to often.

Both Paris and PH had $5 craps tables weekday mornings (probably not Fridays). I was there in December and January. If those properties had $5 tables, lower tier properties probably had them as well. I've never seen a $5 table at Caesars. They are usually $15, once in a while maybe a $10.

There is always a $3 craps table at the freemont however it gets quite packed and may have to wait for a slot after say 5pm.

The Caesars one is a rarity. I caught it Tuesday morning before checking out in May last year.

It's like the $5 craps table at the Cosmo. I found it once and played on it. It was like catching a unicorn. Too bad a few 7 outs while taking max odds with 1 or 2 come bets wiped me out pretty quick. That was an expensive trip to Va Bene.

Hey, I caught that same unicorn! Played with $300 for eight hours, all at the same $5 min. The dealers still remember me from that trip!

To the OP, if you don't see a $5 table at MC during the week, jump in at the tail end of the 'free craps lesson' they have at 11am (I think NYNY has one at the same time) and they open a $5 table right after the lesson. A couple of times they have also said to mention the lesson later in the day and they will let you roll at $5.

I've found $5 at Mirage, PH and Flamingo. They were morning games to draw the suckers in and then they bumped them to $10 at Noon with no grandfathering.

I've played lots of $5 at Q and Harrah's at many different hours and days. Harrah's is actually my favorite place to play.

Just a heads up: Playing on Fremont is some good times, but keep your eyes on the dealers as a lot of them are not the sharpest knives in the drawer and not to be a dick, but I think English might be their 3rd or 4th language.

Day after Super Bowl in the morning at Planet Hollywood I played for about 2 hours on a $5 table.

On Monday morning? Really? I should have come across the street. I was staying the Cosmo and it was nothing but $25 tables in the AM. I didn't see a $10 table until Tuesday morning.

Is there anywhere on the web that posts lesson times at the strip casinos?
