Can anyone send me a picture or link to the Linq pool? Seems I can't find it online and I'm more sure when I check images which one it actually is.

Linq pool is actually under full renovation, with a new pool and dayclub experience coming in 2015.

The old pool was really pityful. You can read about the new renovations here. http://www.jrn.com/ktnv/news/223-million-LINQ-Hotel--Casino-to-replace-The-Quad-on-Las-Vegas-Strip-265468341.html

The pool along with the West / North tower room remodels should be done by May.

March 20th would be awesome. Did you see that in the forums?

The Cabana Rooms seem like a nice touch. It'd be cool to have a room that opens up right out into the pool area.

I actually saw it on Trip Advisor. In the questions section. The actual hotel has been saying for months they didn't have a date and just recently answered someone with the March 20th date! Check the link posted too, says late March!!

If anyone gets there anytime soon I would appreciate an in person update LOL. I think they have been saying March from the beginning but that's always subject to change when it comes to construction.

It used to be that the smoking rooms at the I.P. were on the second floor and the ones that were around the pool had a sliding door with access to the pool area. It was great!
Didn't cost any extra, either. That was then. I haven't been in there since it changed to the Linq.

On the TR site they don't show the rooms named as Cabana Rooms, only as (I think) Deluxe King or Deluxe Two Double - same as their basic rooms, with the only difference being the price - click on the "Room Description" and it says they are located pool side. For my mid-April trip the basic room goes for about $70 a night (I have almost zero status with CET), but the Cabana Rooms were $700-$800 per night.

With these Cabana Rooms in play, anyone know how it works as far as bringing outside alcohol to this pool. Seems that this would be difficult to regulate.

My friends and I are always down for the Flamingo Pool, but frown at that one stipulation.

After calling the front desk at the Linq today I was informed that " the pool is not open but you are more than welcome to use the Flamingo Pool"
Yes, it was the front desk, no it was not an operator as I went through the Hotel and then asked for front desk.
After working in construction for thirty five years I can tell you this is the norm. Could be hundreds of reasons from changes to permits, inspections.
Most of the time it comes down to $. If the bills are not being paid on time, the construction will slow.

Did they have any idea as to when it might be finished?
