I looked at the website and I just want to be clear. For $37.00 I'll get an online newsletter...and they'll MAIL a coupon book to me? How long does it take to get?

Yes. Coupon book is supposed to take only 7-10 days. I had to request mine again after nearly a month and I did receive it then.

I would say 3 days is very typical in our experience. We have found that they provide very good customer service if there is any problem at all.

How big is the book and do you really have to carry it around and tear off the coupon in the presence of the cashier?

The book is a reduced size that easily will fit in your pocket. Yes, you do need to tear out the coupon in the presence of the casino employee. Now I've had loose coupons in the book and simply kept them in the book and had no problems.

Coupon book is maybe 1/4" thick and small enough to fit in your back pocket. If you're going to spend a good deal of time off strip and/or downtown, it's a pretty good deal.

I really only wanted it for some of the buffet coupons.

Carrying the book has never been a problem for us--fits in my back jean or shots pocket, or wife's hipster purse. Whether one gets their money out of it depends where you spend your LV time, how you gamble/eat. We spend the vast amount of time on BoulderHy, DT, and on Flamingo; we play the FreePlay on video poker; and we trade for doubles with coupons --mostly Strip-- that we will not use. So we get a tremendous return on the cost, but everyone will be different of course.

I'm sure you know that you can trade the coupons you won't use for doubles of those you will use on this thread.

I ordered the book. Some of the buffet coupons say good for "breakfast", "lunch", or "dinner". Anyone use a buffet coupon for Sunday brunch or are they strict about that?

We have never had a problem using an LVA buffet coupon on a Sunday brunch ... but read the back of each coupon, as to what they will or will not allow.
You can easily get your money's worth out of the cost of the LVA book, just using it for the many buffets ... but you can really come out ahead using the many free-play coupons in this year's edition.

I will gladly take your leftover coupons when you get back if that's before my trip. I've always wanted to get one of these books! :)

Do you still have your book? Would you be interested in selling it now that you have returned from your trip? If so, I will let you know which coupons I would like to see in the book and we can discuss price.
