5 minutes if you exit out the sports book door on Flamingo.

Yup, what ^^^^ said. Exit out of the lower level of Bally's and just take the sidewalk to the intersection. Ballys will be to your right. Cross the street into the gas station parking lot and Ballys is just next door. Great little place for cheap food and cheap beer.

The Ellis Island steak dinner is served in the Café and requires that you print out two coupons from an EI kiosk, the second after playing at least $1 in any slot machine with your club card inserted, to get the $7.99 price.

Its their famous steak special that includes, soup or salad, two sides and a 16 ounce beer. It is a great steak for the dollar and I guarantee you have paid much more for a lesser steak in your lifetime. While we enjoy the steak, we also enjoy the barbecue joint, the pizza shop and just hanging at the casino bar. You will meet some real characters while there. It is mostly locals mixed with seasoned tourists.

It is definitely worth the short walk from Bally's. You will think you stepped back in time....lol. Primarily a locals place but so many visitors have read about it.....many make it a regular stop during their trip. Steak special not on the menu but print the coupon, play and your ready. Great value on all food but don't expect fancy....lol.

Get the Las Vegas Advisor coupon book. Make sure to use the coupons here for some free drinks, slot play and 2-for-1 menu offers. Don't come here to impress your friends; that said, it's worth a stop.

Read somewhere that you can get the steak special w/o the coupon, just paid $1 more. Anyone can confirm that?

I was there twice in the last 10 days. Didn't play either time. Just swiped my player card & got a coupon for the steak special. $8.99 not including tax & tip.

I often get the steak special but there are plenty of other affordably priced, decent items on the EI menu. Their fish & chips and prime rib are really good.

The BBQ joint is the real play there. Opens at 4, and LVA has 2/1 for the BBQ. Some of the best ribs I've had.

I concur. I'm not much of a rib person, so I got the half and half deal. 1/2 a chicken and half rack ribs. I would have gladly given the chicken up for a full rack of ribs. VERY tasty!!

Great breakfasts too. Our number 1 stop each trip for breakfast..........huge portions. Sharing a very viable option!!! Steak dinner always a must too..........at home we pay more than 8.99 for the beer alone........

Is the $8.99 steak dinner available 24/7? We'll be staying at the Trop, so it looks like an easy walk down Koval or a quick bus ride to EI.
