I live near San Diego, so i am lazy and fly to Vegas.. this year i have a bug up my butt about driving one way..
I could drive both ways but we get up early to get there and early to get home.. this I don't mind on the way there, but I am NOT getting up at 4am to drive back home. so I think I will drive out there for about 150 for a rental car, plus gad, ditch it at the MGM where we are staying and then book flights home..

Gotta LOVE that flight from ONT to LAS.

    33 minutes in the air.
If the crew is slow, you may not even get a drink!! Happened to us many times. :haha:

I don't blame you, and would certainly go for the drive/fly thing.

(I'm too damn lazy to even drive one way anymore, even though we now live near John Wayne (SNA) and that damn flight is a miserable 47 minutes in length) :goofy:

I had a friend who rode the bus in from LA to Vegas for my birthday trip, then flew home. Might even save some more.
