I m wondering about the best pancakes in Vegas certainly IHOP is very consistent nationwide and their Pecan syrup is very good, but the Black Bear Diner is good too. Now certainly not the last or least is Blueberry Hill or maybe some other establishment in the Vegas area ?

My personal favourites are the Ihop on south Las Vegas Boulevard (near Las Vegas Premium Outlets South), DuPars, and the cafe at the gas station on the I15 at the turning for Valley of Fire.

Black Bear Diner is on my list for this coming visit. :)

I thought DuPar's was the go-to place for pancakes. I'm not a pancake aficionado but it was pretty dang good.

I tried Black Bear and Blueberry Hill last trip. Out of the three, I would go with Blueberry Hill. Black Bear Diner is nice, seems more like a local joint than a chain and the concept of sweet cream is appealing. But Blueberry Hill just served up better pancakes and more importantly a better overall meal.

My vote would be for Blueberry Hill! IHOP doesn't even come close.

DuPars. But don't get the giant order. It's a lot of pancakes.

    Blueberry Hill.

I went there on a recommendation from a co-worker while I was in Vegas last July. Cost me about 35.00 for the cabs. But, holy crap....best banana pancakes in my entire life. It was truly hard to settle on which pancakes to get. But, I know I couldn't have gone wrong with any of the others. Go hungry or plan on sharing. They don't know how to serve small portions of anything, apparently.

    I will be back!

Blueberry Hill cinnamon swirl pancakes are to die for. We also tried Black Bear for the first time this last trip - but not the pancakes, and thought it was pretty good. I do not like Dupars - their pancakes are covered with some type of "buttery stuff" which is definitely not butter. We like the Blueberry Hill restaurant on Flamingo - not at all fancy but always busy.

We try to never visit a restaurant on vacation that we can frequent at home, so IHOP would be last on our list - right down there with McD's and Burger King.

My favorite is Black Bear but followed almost at a tie is The Cracked Egg, then Babystacks, then Blueberry, then DuPars. I also love Original Pancake House but I can get that in so many places that I do not put it on a Las Vegas list. Note, I think my love for The Cracked Egg is in part due to the coffee cake... man I love it. Babystacks is #1 for variety. DuPars is #1downtown but I agree with the earlier poster who commented about much of the taste coming from the gallon of butter/butter-like substance soaked in, another very good choice downtown is Claim Jumper at Golden Nugget On-Strip I think Aria Café has outstanding pancakes.

Honorable mention to Mary's Hash House (NOT HHAGG) something about Mary coming out from behind the grill to say "hi" to the customers, I like that.

Pancakes are subjective. I like them crispy and thin, and few places serve them that way. They're not like steaks, for which one may choose degree of doneness. The flannel pancakes I get in most places must appeal to somebody- just not to me.

Mr. Mama's has good pancakes. Babystacks is great for the variety. As far as chains go, I like the Original Pancake House.

DuPars are fabulous for pancakes without fancy fruit. The Original Pancake House has their apple pancake, which is baked, and which is more like a dessert. (which is not a bad thing) Can't go wrong with either.
