    My Trip Report

    Sorry it took me so long to get this trip report going. I'm really back logged with pictures to upload from various events. I'm going to do with this trip report what I've done with my previous trip reports: 1 day equals 1 post.

    December 15, 2014, Monday

    My plane took off from Houston at 8:55am & landed on time in Vegas at 10:20am. Uneventful flight. I got to Bally's at 11:30am & to my room at 11:40am. I paid an extra $22 for early check in. I was in one of the renovated Jubilee Rooms. This was my third time staying at Bally's, but my first time since the renovations. Nice looking room.

    I then went to Tilted Kilt in the Linq for lunch. 12:28pm. I had the Inferno Burger with fries & a Diet Coke. Not quite "Inferno" but it did have some spicy. It was a good burger. Some pics:

    I then went to the Conservatory at the Bellagio. 1:55pm.

    I then went to the Gallery of Fine Art at the Bellagio. 2:34pm. It had an exhibit on Faberge. First time ever seeing work done by Faberge. Incredible work. I then went to the Richard MacDonald Gallery at the Bellagio. 3:30pm.

    For dinner I ate at Lagasse's Stadium. I had my favorite nachos, chicken nachos. I watched the first 2.5 quarters of Monday Night Football, Saints vs Bears.

    I got to the Fremont Street Experience at 8:45pm. Took in part of one & all of another performance of the "Hotties."

    An Indian movie cast & crew shot a scene for 'Any Body Can Dance 2'. More on them another day.

    Day #2, December 16, 2014.

    Woke up at 5:30. Slowly got ready for the day. I went to the Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace for breakfast. 7:45am. A lot of great food. Right now it's my favorite buffet.

    I then made my way to Circus Circus. 10:50am. My first time there.

    After the wax I went to my room to rest. I looked out my window to see that there were people using Paris' pools.

    I ate dinner at the Hooters Casino restaurant. 5:40pm. I had a good BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich & curly fries. I took a picture of the nice lady at the front of the restaurant.

    Canon EOS Rebel T3 DSLR for the pictures. Canon Powershot SX130 for the videos.

    REELmoneySlotFan, no I didn't do any gambling on this trip. I rarely gamble during any trip. When I do, it's usually only a few dollars at a video poker machine.

    Day #3: Wednesday, December 17, 2014

    I woke up at 6:30am. I made it to the Bellagio buffet at 7:45am for breakfast. Food was good, but it seems like the selection was less than before. After breakfast was a tour of the Hoover Dam. I got picked up around 11am. Along the way we stopped in Boulder City to look at some mountain sheep.

    The tour guide said it was unusual to see mountain sheep this far down the mountains at this time of the year. Normally they are further up the mountains by December. After the sheep we were driven around the subdivision.

    We eventually made it to the Dam. We went down to the bottom of the inside part of the Dam.

    After we left Lake Mead we went to the Ethel M Chocolate Factory and Botanical Cactus Garden in Henderson.

    I can't believe it took me five years & 10 trips to make it to the Hoover Dam. It was an awesome experience. It really made me wish I had gotten to the Dam much earlier. I think I'll have to take another tour on a future trip. I got back to my room at 4:45pm.

    For dinner I ate at Twin Peaks. I ate a very good Texas style Philly cheese steak sandwich. Wednesdays are bikini days at the Vegas Twin Peaks. My waitress & another posed for a picture. My waitress is on the right.
