I know I read about it last year but I was wondering if anyone had any recent experience with it. I am thinking about going ahead and getting it so that it one more thing I do not have to worry about when I get to Vegas. Going for the airport to PH and then Mandalay Bay to the airport. Seems id be paying about $28 give or take if I took cabs and this way I don't have to worry about the long haul or any of that.

Also, if doing the Bell Trans VIP what is the proper tip for the driver?

We've used the Bell Trans VIP shuttle service 6 times in the past 3 years.
    Last time was December 2014.
    Never a problem. Highly recommended.
This is the service that is called "shared shuttle service" but in reality, you get a Lincoln Town Car sedan, and we have never shared the ride with anyone else.
The drivers are very professional, and they never have a problem with making an extra stop or two for "room supplies"

    We tip $10 each way.

Thanks for posting this. I'm going solo in a few weeks and didn't want to pay for a limo but wasn't really looking forward to taking a cab. I think this will be perfect!

I was already on there. I started booking but they didn't have The Delano listed as one of the locations to be picked up at so I'm going to call up and and see if I can get picked up there or if I'll have to walk over to the Mandalay Bay valet.

Is the price listed on the website for one way or round trip? Was thinking of using this for my husband and I in March, we're staying downtown so I know it's $38 per person but couldn't tell if that was a one way price or round trip. It's a pretty deal if round trip I think!

I used it on my last solo trip last summer and I ended up sharing a stretch limo on the way to the hotel with 3 women in town for a birthday party. The driver asked 1st if I was ok sharing and I said yes. I tipped $10 each way.

I had a town car for the return trip to myself. I would recommend it for solo travelers for sure.

That's good to hear. I ended up booking this for my upcoming trip, can't beat the price of $28 for a solo trip.

I booked for my trip as well which I think I posted above. I think the rate is fair and no sweating the route taken. Having a different pick up than drop off, I just made a call and they changed my pick up and emailed me the change, its knowing its taken care of.

I did the same thing, except I did it thru email and they sent me the updated confirmation less than half an hour after emailing them with my original confirmation number. I've had great customer service so far.

What I found strange was the original email was an @presidentiallimo.com email and the other was from an @belltrans.com email (or something very similar)

Good catch, I didn't even notice that. I just went back at my emails and sure enough, the original confirmation was @presidentiallimolv.com and the updated was @belltransportation.com

I am guessing they are owned by the same people or they co-share the reservations/dispatch system.

I have used the service 4 time and the first 3 times were on the strip with no issues at all. I did a different drop off from pick up hotel and it was no issue. I travel solo. I always tip the driver $10 each way and the driver is always very appreciative. It is technically a shared ride service, but I have never had to share the car. Unfortunately, on my most recent trip I had a different experience. I was staying downtown at The D for VIMPF. I was a little worried in that Bell Trans still has The D as Fitzgeralds on the website. I was also concerned because when Tim and Michelle from "Five Hundy By Midnight" used the service from The D, they had trouble getting a pick up. When I arrived at the Bell Trans stand at the airport, there were no cars waiting. It didn't take too long for one to arrive, but it had me worried about my 4:30 am pick up. Sure enough there was nobody to pick me up. I called at 4:40 and the operator said the driver would be there in 10 minutes. Nothing. I called back at 5 and got a different operator who told me my reservation was for 8am and accused me of lying about talking to the other operator earlier. I was holding a print out of my reservation that said 4:30. I think they either didn't have any drivers working at that time or just none that wanted to go downtown. At that time a shuttle for another company pulled up and I jumped on. He told me that I would have to fax a request for a refund on Monday. I didn't bother. I can't decided if I want to use the service again. My first 3 experiences were so good.

I used them one time about a year and half ago. - Once was enough. Upon arrival to the airport my husband and I had to share a sedan with an elderly couple - we were going to MGM and they were going to Linq/Quad - I sat in the back seat - they would not scoot over much and I was crammed in next to the door. Someone in the vehicle had been incontinent of a large amount of urine - I know it wasn't me or my husband and I doubt it was the driver -- I know the smell - God knows between my elderly mother and the hospital I smell it every day. -- but the driver was nice and the car was clean.

I had prepaid on line and had email confirmation numbers for pick up times. Our return trip was to be five days later. Our flight was leaving around 6 pm and we asked to be picked up at 3 pm. This was a trip my husband got the flu and spent 3 of the 5 days in the hotel. MGM let us check out at 12 noon and we played in the casino for a few hours. Just a little before pick up time we grabbed our bags from the bell desk and headed to the limo/taxi pick up area. I think it was over 20 minutes late - we never received a call or a text. We started calling the number - and of course like all customer service departments you don't speak to a real person. I just hitting the zero again and again - it took me at least 15 minutes to get a real person -- So now it was over 30 minutes late. She checks her computer and said our pick up time had been changed to midnight. I told her that was plain stupid because our flight was leaving in about 2 hours. She could offer me no explanation as to why it was changed even though I had the email printed out in my hand and read her all the numbers etc. She said she would quickly call someone to pick us up. It took another 15 minutes or so and a strech limo showed up with an extremely apologetic driver. He didn't even have time to clean out the limo because there were open water bottles in the drink caddies.

For me once was enough -- I think there is enough history with them on the return trips from the hotels to the airport - that I would leave time and have a back up plan. As for me - never again.
