    My Trip Report

Hey there yall! Reporting in from Bellagio on this early Saturday morning in Vegas!
Had a great half day after arrival yesterday and hope to update this TR throughout our stay.

    Day 1 Feb 6th
Arrived on Southwest NS from Midland/Odessa. Actually landed 20 min early which never happens anymore so great flight. Grabbed our usual Starbucks from the new one in Terminal B and headed to baggage claim. Husbands parents are on this trip with us so had a limo to the Bellagio. Not very crowded when we arrived, I think this is a good weekend to come between SB and Valentines.
Only slightly frustrating part of the day was at check in. Don't really understand Bellagios VIP check in. Even though I Booked our suite through VIP, only "invited guests" can check in there. Actually had to go to regular checkin. Weird.
Room wasn't quite ready but got a quick text after about 40 min saying it was. We are in a Fountain View Salone Suite and man is it an amazing view. Would highly recommend this room. We like all the open space, so great if you are looking for nice but don't need all the room of the Penthouse. Bathroom is actually better than PH IMHO bc it has a great strip view from the tub.
Went down to play a little after getting unpacked and hubby sat down and hit a hand pay on the first machine he picked! $2700 on a $5 megabucks slot bank. Now that's the way to start the day!
We played a little more at the slots and had a decent run at low limit BJ, then we were off to the Wynn for dinner at SW.
Arrived at Wynn. I had never gotten the red card in the several times we have walked thru Wynn, so we grabbed those any lost a little playing slots. Hopefully they can sent me some kind of offer now for donating some money :poke:
    SW STEAKHOUSE
I had really done my research for our one nice dinner this trip and it did not disappoint. We had 6pm reservations (early I know but still on our Texas time schedule). I had made the reservations but hubby surprised me with a lakeside table that he had called and reserved. The little show they put on by the lake of dreams is weirdly awesome. Great to see a little mini show every 30 min with dinner.
Great wine list here and we went with a bottle of Relic.
The food was to die for. Started with shrimp cocktail, blue chesse salads, and then had the chile rubbed ribeye for 2. There is a reason it was on THE BEST THING I EVER ATE on food network.. It really is amazing. Highly highly recommend this restaurant as it just made the top of my list in Vegas.

After dinner headed back to Bellagio, played a little BJ, 3 card, and HL slots (lost, lost, lost) then headed up to bed calling it an early night. Watching the fountain show from the room before going to sleep was amazing.
Still up a little for the trip so I'll take it!
Hope to keep up with the reporting as the trip goes on.

Sorry to hear about the checkin issue. Bellagio only lets you checkin at the VIP if a host has coded you to check in there. At the regular checkin, however, they used to have a separate line for invited guests (usually the line closest to the conservatory). Been a few years since I used the regular checkin, but I would guess that invited guest line is still there

    Good morning again!
    Day 2 Feb 7
Started the morning off early watching the sun come up over the strip from this fabulous view at Bellagio! Room service breakfast, then we had early appointments at the spa for some relaxation. Well, mine was for relaxation, hubby had some deep tissue athlete's massage that sounded painful. I like the spa at Bellagio, has great treatment rooms and its really big, but it does lack in the common areas for relaxation.
Had small lunch at the cafe. If you have never had the French onion soup here, it's really the best I've ever had so worth a try.
Early afternoon, we headed over to the Cromwell. Really like this casino! Small and the decor is fabulous. Won a little playing miss stud here and some on a 3,4,5 slot so we will be back! Easy walk over from the B.
Played a little more down the street at Paris, sat down at a terrible single deck, 6:5 BJ table and didn't like that one bit!
Won a little on a top dollar slot in the HL area, then headed back over to Bellagio.
I finally hit a small hand pay after we got back, $1375 on a $10 top dollar here.
Not seeing as many hand pays overall in the HL area as usual.
Had a light dinner before heading over to New York New York. Ate at Fix. Good atmosphere right off the casino. Had a nice Cakebread Chardonay with our meal. I had the scallops and hubb had the chicken. Really good food, not huge portions so that was good.
    Zumanity
Headed over for the late showing of Zumanity at NYNY. Got these tix comped thru MyVegas, and had decent seats 3 rows from the front. I had heard mixed reviews about this show, but we were not fans at all. There were some funny parts, and some good acrobatic stunts, but overall it was not a good show for us. I actually got a little bored with it and there were some really strange acts.
Good day, had a few wins, but down a little for the trip.

    Day 3 Feb 8
Room service again for breakfast. Fast service and great food again! Today was going to be a partial alone day for me as husband had a 4 hour tattoo scheduled at Club Tattoo in the Miracle Mile shops. 3rd time here and Ben Stanton is such a great artist we keep going back! Got him all settled in for his painful day. I was planning to go to a few different casinos, but between winning a little a miss stud at PHo and shopping in the MM, I stayed pretty busy for the day. Had a light lunch at the Meatball Spot! I think that is a little hidden gem. So different, quick bites, and easy access in the mall right by the Axis Theater.
Grabbed some tickets for VEGAS! The Show for this night. I was surprised at how expensive they were but needing something to do other than gamble all night.
After tattoo session, we walked over to Flamingo, played a little miss stud, (lost) and then headed back to Bellagio to change before the show that night.
We grabbed dinner at Lombardi's in the mall before the show and it was really great. Italian fare, good prices. We both had specials they were serving for the evening.
    Vegas the Show
I was excited about the show, had read a little about it before we left for the trip but we were leaving it open to just grab tickets if we wanted to go last minute. We were really disappointed with our show the night before so were hoping for better. IT WAS SO GREAT! It is in the Saxe theater in the mall at PH, so small atmosphere but the show was fantastic! Took you through the progression of Las Vegas entertainment, with side acts in between. It was a full 90 min. Would recommend this to anyone! Full of entertainment!
