I'm heading to AC during Valentine's Day and have booked the room online. I received an email from a Customer Development Executive for a CET property back in January introducing herself, but it seems like a generic email. Is there a point for me to reach out to this person about my trip? Is this person an actual host that has the ability to comp any charges that I have to the room or can they only book rooms and make dinner reservations and promote events?

    Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

    Never hurts to try.

If they've reached out before why not? Just call them email them or whatever and go from there.

It sounds like an inside sales person that can make reservations for you, but can't do the same things as an Executive Casino Host. An Executive Casino host would be on property. Having said that, you can always speak with a host before you check out to evaluate your play for possible back end comps.
From what I've been told and what has been posted on VMB, an inside sales person may be assigned for players with theo below what a host is looking for, but at a level that puts them on the casino's radar.

Only if there's something you want that you aren't getting.

Not really. Any title with the word Executive is the real deal. You'll notice all those sales people have fancy sounding titles but they never have the word Executive in them.

At least at MGM, Customer Development Executive is actually a fairly high title, right below Director.
