Sorry if this gets asked here a lot... I have not seen many details.

What is the procedure for companion (2 for 1) show tickets? I am interested in seeing KA

After I purchase this reward.. what happens next? I assume they give you a promo code or phone number to order your tickets?

My main concern is, can I choose my exact seats? (obviously within the particular price range ie: standard, premium),
I see on the MGM/KA website that there is a map you can choose your exact seats.. wondering if this is the same with myvegas and companion tickets?

From my experience (Love and Jabbawockeez), no, you cannot choose your own seats. You call MyVegas with the redemption code and they will assign seats for you. They seem to have some leeway but not much. I requested certain seats for Jabbawockeez (to sit near other seats we'd already purchased) and they weren't able to get that exact row, even though the guy doggedly tried. He was able to get the same section. Still a good trade-off when you weigh free vs. paid, in my opinion.

I did it last September for Carrot Top and they give you a phone number and confirmation number to call and get your tickets. I couldn't pick my seats but asked for the best available and was given seats on the second row. I plan on doing the same for our May trip.

    Thanks for the info!

I called today and ordered my tickets.. YES, I was able to choose my exact seats!

The only thing that sucks is they require me to pick up the tickets at their box office on the day of the show before 4pm (the show starts at (9:30pm)
So I have to hike over to MGM, pick up tickets.. go back to my hotel and then back to MGM later that night. Still worth it I guess (I hope!)

If you're staying at an mLife property you might be able to pick them up at the property you are staying at.

I had tickets for Zarkana but was staying at MGM Grand and I was able to pick them up at the ticket office at MGM Grand.

Hmmm, that's worth a shot. I will call the MGM box office when it gets a little closer or when I arrive into town and ask about that. That would save a little trek from Delano to MGM and back and then back to MGM that night. I guess II would go to the MJ box office at Mbay.

My understanding - which has not yet been tested (I'll be there in a couple weeks, and got 2-for-1 Zumanity tickets :)), it's just what I've heard - is that you can pick up myvegas-redeemed tickets at any mlife box until the day of your show, but if you haven't picked them up the day of your show, you have to pick them up at the casino the show is at. Someone who has tried this already can confirm or deny that?

Yes, you can pickup show tickets at any Mlife Box office.

I can't confirm that they won't let you pick up show tickets the day of the show from another MLife location though. I know that's their policy, but I haven't tested them. :)

You can pick up the tickets at any mgm owned property up until 4pm.
So if you are not in the area of the show you can just pop into the ticket counter closest to you and they will give you your tickets.

And this can be done before 4pm on the DAY OF the show? Or just on the day(s) before the show?

at the show, you can always ask the people in those seats if they would be willing to trade so you can sit with your friends, unless they are jerks, shouldn't be a problem

That show I was talking about was last summer. I ended up tipping the usher $10 and he reassigned all 3 of us to second row seats, dead center.

We got the 2 free tickets for both Zumanity and KA. They told us the seats and we were asked if they were ok with us. Both were decent seats, however for both of these shows I do not think there was a "bad" seat in the house. We were in the front section for KA but kind of wish we would of been back a bit because I had to keep looking back and forth for the things up in the air. Zumanity the closer you can get the better IF you want to be "part" of the show.

I just redeemed a Premium companion ticket to Beatles: LOVE (10,000 points).

Did research beforehand, and many people recommended Sections 200 or 209 - so I was able to get 2 tix in Section 209 for $141 for a show in May. Saved almost $60 total.

Besides from the 90-minute wait time on hold, it was a rather smooth process.
