Everywhere I turn - I am thinking VEGAS!!!

I am very ready for a vacation, I cannot have a conversation with anyone without my mind finding a connection and wondering to VEGAS!

Discussing songs - I remember partying in the pool on the last trip
Dinner plans - wonder what we are going to eat in Vegas
Problems at work again - man, can't wait until vacation...in Vegas
Working on taxes - money, money makes me think of, what else, Vegas


Sigh... 3 more weeks

 

I feel your pain. These next four weeks for me can't go quick enough!

I've been texting people reliving past trips..

 

woooooooooo same boat here! I have watched every movie about vegas I can find. Now I have resorted to watching clips of stupid shit on youtube.

 

I just got back and I can't wait to go back in May. My desktop picture at work is the Vegas skyline, my phone is a picture of Vegas, I'm always playing MyVegas. I'm constantly listening to Elvis and the Hangover soundtrack because it reminds me of Vegas......... I need an intervention.

 

We all need help! Myself included. Hubby and I are going to Puerto Vallarta with his company in 17 days. Vegas is in 33 days...which do you think I'm more excited about? Yep, not Mexico!

 

Me, too. Only question is 2nd week of June or 2nd week of September. September gives me more time to save towards my gambling bankroll.

 

I spend my entire life turning all conversations to Vegas.
I must drive people crazy....

 

4 more months for me.... can't wait! it's great to have a place like this website and see that I'm not the only one who is obsessed a bit!

In am so glad there are others out there who share the same problem as I do. Definitely makes me feel normal now!

I am constantly thinking about vegas and always scheming new ways to try to book new trips.

Reliving past trips with friends....songs that remind me of the good times...saving lunch money at work to build into a vegas fund pot...motivation at the gym because vegas is coming....altering conversations to include vegas correlation...playing myvegas...reading this forum constantly......reading vegaschatter....on and on and on...

 

Looks like I'm in good company! I am seriously considering starting to pack already!

 

I do it! My next trips not until August and already i'm driving the wife mad! Checking flight and hotel prices about 3 or 4 times a day and already making plans for when we are there. 7 months to wait, nightmare. Already started my Vegas fund though and have plenty of time to tone up for the pool parties!!!!

 

I've now had to consciously curtail my Vegas chatter for a few people I talk too because I think it was starting to annoy them!

 

I just realized I have passed the point at which the length of my stay in vegas is longer than the time until I leave (several days ago actually). Perhaps that will make the last few days of work more bearable. I talked about Vegas so much recently that when I was out for college recruitment last week some colleagues thought I was already in Vegas, ha!

I was supposed to be out of town on business a few days this week, so it's really making this week drag on (disappointed the weather curtailed those plans, but glad it happened this week and doesn't look like any weather will interfere with my flight next week *fingers crossed*).

I just re-read this thread - and thoroughly enjoyed it though!

I'm feeling the urge to splurge in a Vegas trip...but don't want to fly solo...and then usual suspects are all MIA or have lame excuses as to why they are 'no go's'.

Maybe 2016 will be kinder.

 

Try being obsessed with Vegas and living 10.5 hours away we were last in Vegas in Sept and I think I have talked Mrs F into a trip in Feb 2016 , I know its a long way off but its less than a year , all we need to do now is sort out babysitters, flights, hotel and $$$ .

I have created a countdown clock for the proposed date and hotel , little things make me happy
