I just finished a 2 day trip at the Venetian. I was rated at 18hours 39mins at $547 a roll/hand. What can I reasonably ask from them for my next visit two weeks away?. This last trip was the first time I take them up on any offers, Super Bowl Game offer. This offer I booked has $300 free play and $100 resort credit. What is my theo? I don't have a host and have never asked for anything but extra SB party tickets.

You should of burned some comps if you only got SB tickets and room.

I don't know how craps is rated, but ~550 avg at ~19 hours for 2 days is a good amount of theo where you could have eaten some nice dinners and bottles of wine/champagne.

You should have talked to the host on duty before you left. Some hosts will say you have X to burn on comps. Others will not tell you much.

    Was it all craps?

Dice earns way less comps than other games.

But you can still ask for and expect a true suite @ RFB for your next trip.

I use an approximation method based on dollar-minutes, which assumes the games you play are rated at approximately one hand/roll per minute. You had $547 X 1,119 min = 612,093 dollars-minutes.
At a minimum, if you played craps, you would have generated about 0.8% of that as theo, or 4,897. If you played baccarat, 1.0% or 6,121 as theo, and if double zero roulette a whopping 5.4%, or 33,053.
Now, take 30 to 40% of the theo, and that is how much you can expect to get back in comps. CET gives back 30%, my Cosmo host gives me 40%, I don't know what the Venetian percentage is.

I validated this method during a trip where I recorded the details of over 20 gambling sessions, and I was surprised by how accurate it was.

Yes all craps and about 4k on slots. I didn't know that tables games didn't count towards grazie points. I am not use to asking for anything. I joined this board a few years back to look at Natedoggs pics but that's it. Not till recently I've realized that I have been cheating myself. I play craps everywhere averaging around 8+ hours a day.

I was checking my emails and received an email from a Casino Relationship Manager saying I qualified for a host. Not sure what that entails.
I will continue reading up on old post and see what I learn.

You should definitely contact a host as you have been cheating yourself out of some good comps

I played in that range when I stayed there in 2013, and was assigned a host. I never met the host but talked to him on the phone a few times, and for the three trips I made, each time the entire bill was comped off -- including $800 dinner tab with 6 friends, spa treatments with a then girlfriend, and all alcohol and mini bar tabs. The only thing I was billed for was gratuities, which is pretty standard.

For each trip, it was about $2000 worth of stuff that was comped off. At that time I bet $400-700 a roll on craps, so right around your play.

$2000 in comps is 40% of $5000, which is the estimated theo that I calculated above, so this all fits together.

What is the comp value per night of the room in comp dollars? A suite? A nice suite? A penthouse suite?

What is the comp value of a table with bottle at club/pool??

    Thanks guys
