Thanks for posting this, Westie! :)

I can personally vouch for more than half of the list. I'm really glad to see some of these get some attention they deserve!

I'm actually glad to see that Battista's got on the list. They seem to be the Rodney Dangerfield of Las Vegas restaurants. I'm also glad to hear that the accordion guy is still around. He was not playing when we were there last month.

    Nice post Westie! Thanks.

I've been to eight of those on the list.

Having that travesty of an Italian meal Battistas and not Bootleggers in my mind and taste buds makes this list worthless :poke:

I remember running into some people yelling about double meat at Bob Taylor's. Does anyone have any insight on that?

Ah you are correct it does state classic, which I would as well consider Bootlegger as it has been in LV 65 years, BUT I could not resist the opportunity to be the first to bash Batistas, that's not an easy task and one must strike quick LOL

Bootlegger for sure, and their ceasar salad is the best I've ever had.

I'll take Bootlegers or Casa Di Amore over Batistas every single time. Mange

Just want to thank Frank for posting this, and all he brings to light here. While battles might rage over what is glory and goat at times, it is nice to see chatter on food that doesn't drone on for multiple pages over some fast-food joint or how to get a 4.99 buffet for 3.99.

In the Spirit of Smartone, I'd say this is a positive upbeat thing.

For us, Frank is like the purveyor of product to restaurants - he delivers all sorts of goods to us on a regular basis.

I'm a fan of Casa di Amore. It's so cheesy and old school, but the food is tasty.

I've been to Bob Taylors twice in the recent past and I don't remember that expression at all.
