I would like to bring my wife out the vegas for her birthday second week of April, last time we visited was 10 years ago and we stayed at TI and enjoyed the stay very much. Can anyone suggest a TI type place to stay? So we can expand our list of places visited.

    Thanks.

I would take a look at Bally's, New York, New York, Planet Hollywood and maybe even Harrah's or Flamingo on the low end. I have stayed at all of these and found similarities with each.

Be advised that the NAB convention is in town April 11-16. They usually draw 100,000+ so that makes all prices jump on the Strip. Book early.

What did you like and not like about TI? That makes it easier to give feedback.

Fyi. TI is different than ten years ago. Heck, Vegas is too.

Better options for a birthday celebration. If pick a few places and look at the prices. From there you can access value.

We like to walk the strip, find the cheap drinks and people watch. I will gamble around $200 a day. craps & VP. people watching & enjoying time together.

If you like walking the strip I suggest staying mid strip like PH, Paris or Ballys.
