Yeah I was shocked how far east some of these rates extended to... too bad no chicago! But DC to vegas for under $100 before fees, crazy!

The same flights I booked two weeks back for $136 Cleveland to vegas would cost $107 today. It's insane cheap.

I booked a similar sale with spirit in mid December, same rates, non member, $34.10, 1 way, from Philadelphia to Vegas and back, the total came to $118.20, round trip, will be in Vegas Jan,27.
They had a similar deal, just a different name a few weeks ago. That price doesn't include taxes, fee's and luggage. also you can buy your seat assignment in advance or just let them seat you for free. Still a great price! But Spirit has it's drawbacks, very tight seating which don't go back. Oh well. sign up at their web site for future flights, yes their web site is a bit funky also.

I booked this sale and my flight MSP-LAS 2/8- 2/13 was 1 cent each way and $28.20 in taxes/fees
Total $28.22 Round Trip From Minneapolis
    I Love Spirit!
These fares were booked at the airport (saves $36 round trip)

What are all the fees and baggage with that?

I'm looking at an April or May trip. And if a sale comes on like that I would drive the 6 hours to MSP

I have a bag that meets the Free Personal Item size limit of 16"x14"x12" so I will not be paying anything extra besides the $28.22
That sale is over now, but these prices or close to them are available quite often (my best prior to this was $42.20 rt)

Can you expand on purchasing the tickets at the airport with Spirit? Is it always less expensive?

When you purchase your ticket from the agent at the airport you always save the Passenger usage fee which is $18 each way.
The fine print on the Spirit web site always says "cheaper fares are generally available at the airport"

Thank you for the information. I wonder if they can apply online deals such as the $24 off and other promotions they frequently have.

Those promos do NOT apply at the airport, they usually jack up the prices right before those sales.

I've found that to be the case as well. $18 off is usually more than the raised price.

Those specials never apply to the really cheap seats either.
The airport is always the cheapest place to buy the tickets and I have yet to find a good reason to join the $9 fare club, those fare club seats CAN'T be purchased at the airport.
