I am looking to book a foursome at Legacy Golf Club on Friday 1/30. I checked their website and it looks like a pretty good deal. $100 for an 11:30 tee time with rentals, plus free shuttle to the course (need to call about the shuttle)

The group that I am playing with does not need to play the best courses in Vegas. We are just looking for a course that will be in decent condition with some elevation changes.

Have any of the golfers on the board played there? What is your opinion of the course?

    Thanks for any insight.

We have been going to the SB in LV for the past 15 years. Friday we always get in a round of golf. We did Legacy about 4 yrs. ago. Nice course. Friendly people. They have one hole that is very unique. You will understand when you play it. Good choice.
    Weather looks great for Friday.

I gave it a "Par" in my golf book. It will do what you are seeking. (Can't comment on specific conditioning 'cause that is ever-changeable over time.) Have fun!

I don't remember a lot of elevation change. It's nice course. Routed in and around the houses like a lot of Vegas courses do. Nice clubhouse, good driving range, and I think the beer was a reasonable price too. Yup, par is a good rating Ken.

Elevation changes are relative. We are from Florida, so hills are basically elevation changes.

It's no Cascata but there are crinkles and rolls and dips.

    How do you rate Cascata?

The only thing that's opened that might move it down one is Coyote, but that still would keep Cascata in the top 5. I wasn't quite so enamored the first time, but getting out a couple more times I started to "get" it. Now that's price-no-object rating. Dollar-for-dollar rating it's out of the top 10. Scott's been out there, no?

Cascata is still my favorite (because I haven't golfed at Shadow Creek yet). AWESOME track but still can't get over the clubhouse design and my very own locker for the day!
