Slots Mandalay Bay Slot Suggestions

Staying at Delano next week, mainly a table games player but venture into slots and vp when I'm up a decent amount, need a change of pace, or the tables are full for the game I was going to play.

Any recommendations from penny to $5? Or even high limit? Anyone have good luck on any machines there? If so what's the location of the slot.

My best slots hit have been at mb.

I hit a few slots in the hl room, w2g my ass. I like the 25-100 single line slots. Its exciting to see two things line up in first 2 reels followed by the third reel.

 

Thanks, what's your normal buy in on a $25 machines, when do you decide to walk away if it's not hitting anything?

 

I generally put 100-200 and pull til I hit something descent or its gone with 25 slot. I then will move to a different machine. I like to jump around. For the 100 machine, I'll do 1-3 spins. If I loose I go to a different slot.

 

I just got back from MB. I hit two handpays within the first two hours there and then nothing for the rest of the weekend! I like the IGT .25 cent machines close to the noodle restaurant. The 5 or 6 machines are in a circular bank. You can bet from 9 to 100 quarters. I always get good play from the machines. I'll try to post pictures.

I usually hate the new video slots with weird bonuses but I had good luck with the ones sort of by the tram entrance.

They have great, IMHO, $5 Top Dollar slots scattered all around the casino. Usually i can get a bonus on the first hundo i put in there. Most bonus are around 30-50 credits so an easy $150-$250 with a chance at some good stuff. I've also been skunked with a 10 or 20 credit bonus before. I never really sat on one for long, most stick and move. Your mileage may very.

 

^^ opposite luck for me on the $5 top dollars at MB in December. Never could get them to hit for more than 15-25 credits. Did hit a nice hand pay in the HL room on $25 top dollar though for $2175.
Had good luck on the $1 blazing sevens along the wall opposite HL.
Saw the high dollar quick hit pay several hand pays also. Not a big fan of all the video reel high $$ machines they have right outside HL room.

 

Thanks for the suggestions, I won about 3k on my last trip in September all on table games (pai gow and craps, including losses in the sports book). This trip I thought I would forget the sports book and diversify last trips winnings into some slot play since my table game bankroll is still 100% intact. Looking forward to playing the slots you all suggested. Thanks for all your help. Less than 48hrs till arrival whoo hoo. Looking forward to my first stay at Delano as well.
