Aria's buffet is the best IMHO. I always try to go whenever I'm in town.

It's been a while since I've been to Mirage's but it was just okay.

I like the Aria lunch buffet better than the dinner one. Better value. Definitely better than Mirage in all respects. Ate at both in December.

Both are solid 2nd tier buffets, but I have to give the edge to Aria.

We went to Mirage lunch buffet in November and it was not good. I've only had breakfast at Aria but it was real good.

I also ate at both buffets in December. Aria is good for dinner if you want to pay more for the seafood. Mirage is better value but you have to serve your own drinks!

2nd Tier by world standards or Vegas standards? If Vegas standards, I beg to differ. I'd rather go to Aria's buffet than Bellagio's, Cosmo's, and Wynn's.

I've been to both several times (Comped). Very disappointed with the Buffet at Mirage. I thought Aria was much better!

Never been to Aria buffet but I did the lunch buffet at Mirage and thought it was very good, but a little pricey.

Did lunch at Mirage in July and Breakfast at Aria in December- definitely preferred Aria. I will say the "stuffed red velvet" pancake at Aria was not that good so I regretted getting that, but the rest of the stuff I had was quite tasty! I prefer the self service drink section of Mirage better- to me that is a win for Mirage even though many prefer to be served.

We enjoy Mirage buffet but in December they did have the salad area and part of dessert area closed for remodeling I would guess. I don't have a problem with getting my own drinks. We will try the Area buffet on May trip. We enjoy the buffet's over sit down dinners, so much choice and fun to try different items. Mandalay Bay has gone down IMHO as we tried it in Oct. T-135 for next trip.

Don't remember if I have had Aria's buffet, but I have definitely had Mirage's. I am no longer a buffet person, and I personally would not pay for Mirage's buffet, unless it was under $15 per person. If alcohol is important with your meals, I believe beer and wine is part of Mirage's buffet.

Hard to pick between the two. I enjoy both equally as much and would heartily give recommendations to either. The food is a bit different than normal Vegas buffet and the rooms have an eclectic feel compared to a standard buffet room.

I felt like they have greatly improved the Mirage buffet in the last year - previously it was pretty meh. It has a much more seafood/asian slant to the food, in my opinion, so that may draw you in or repel you depending on your personal tastes.

Both are good, solid "2nd tier" buffets if you look at Cosmo, Wynn, Caesar's and Bellagio as "1st tier".

I have eaten at all of the above. IMHO, Aria and Mirage are good solid choices that won't break the bank.
