Never stepped foot in The STRAT so unable to help there. Other than that, safe travels and wins lots!

I think you can go up to the Air Bar on level 108 for free and walkup to the observation and deck/rides...save $20
Only done the Big Shot 0-45 mph in seconds at 4 Gs with negative G's on the way down
Very exhilirating and at night you will think you are going into outer space
The othe rides I have not done, but from reading other posts on those rides, it's still The Big Shot for the biggest thrill
Ride 'em all and write a review!

    Enjoy!

First night in town we hit Ellis Island for power up meal. Hard to beat 8.99 steak and beer. I am not much of a gambler but but did drop a 20 in the slots and walked out with $27.
Walked around taking in the sights and sounds of the city. There are very few people here compared to when I was here a couple years ago in January. At midnight many stores were closed.
Tried video black jack at the Venetian for a while. It took about an hour before a cocktail waitress was seen who did being a stiff drink. All in all I turned a 100 into 105.
    Excited for today.

I received my southwest coupons the other day as well. Did they actually take them this time? Last two flights I was on they either didn't take the coupon or didn't charge us for the beverage.

What are your games of choice? It's been ages since I stepped into the flamingo though that used to be my go to hotel.

...but, one thing that did not work was slipping a 20 for a room upgrade at check-in did not work.

After about a 3 hour battle with the never busting dealer over at the Bellagio, I am down 90. Was a very entertaining group at the table to share the pain.
