Hey everyone, if you are a lottery winner in any state, post on here I need your input. I am looking at possible incentives in the door for new players (or relatively new players) that have recently won the lottery.

I'll give this a bump, I've only ever won 1K on a scratcher. I save my money for Vegas!

$50,000 on a Mass lottery ticket in 2008, many $1000, $500 tickets. Numerous daily number payouts up to $6,000 when I was playing.

I stopped about three years ago. Bad math. State Lotteries are voluntary taxes for the mathematically inept. Most States blow their revenue on things I don't support so I no longer play any lottery. I'm ahead anyway.

Good luck to all lottery players.

Somewhat unrelated, but if someone came in and said they hit a powerball drawing for like $100million+ would you be able to extend them a line of credit of say $1million so they could go crazy and celebrate the win? What would it take? A lot of paperwork / escrow the actual winning ticket with the casino? Or the person would be SOL until they cashed in the ticket and had the funds available?

It would be the same process as anyone else, they would have to apply and be approved. Early on it would most likely be a front money transfer, or a credit line smaller than asked for until payment history with us is established.

How about in the scenario where a diamond tier player (decent enough track record of player) hits the megabucks $10Million+
Says I'd like a upfront comp of a nice suite just to enjoy myself?

Would hosts be able to comp it?

I would imagine just the publicity would be worth it, and a degen gambler would still be a degen gambler only now with a larger bankroll.

It takes about 4 weeks to receive the first check from a Powerball jackpot win, unless CET is willing to alter that policy your going to be at the back of the line for that customer. The winner is immediately swarmed with offers, one of which is a trip to Las Vegas(limo to their airport, private jet, comp suite, RFB and $50,000 line of credit). It is important to remember that offer has NOTHING to do with ADT but is the cost of introduction to a new millionaire customer.

Atlantis in the Bahamas also has an similar offer as do the cruise lines with casinos.

The offer details I listed were from 2006, things may have changed.

Thanks for all the info you have provided Hunter, hope this helps you.

I've always assumed that's what will happen casino put a lottery winner in a suite hoping they will gamble...

Can someone speak to this up front comp as a cost of an introduction to a customer?

Sorry, they don't give out the details upfront. They send a brochure with congrats letter and contact persons business card. You only get the details if you call them to take them up on the free trip.

Yeah, I figured I'd get about the same with my big $1 win. But, to be fair, you didn't say how much we had to have won. :evillaugh

How do they know? Or does this only apply to state lotteries where the winners name has to be made public?
And who gives the offer of Vegas stay("(limo to their airport, private jet, comp suite, RFB and $50,000 line of credit)")?
