Hi - I am currently Diamond and know I can bring one person in to DL at Caesars palace. I am having a couple join me for a couple days while at CP. Would it be possible to bring them both in and pay for one person.? They are Platinum members. Thanks

I don't think being Platinum makes any difference. I believe you can use 1000 reward credits ($10) to get an additional person in (dependent on how busy the DL is.

As a diamond, you're only allowed to bring one guest. Any additonal guest, you have you pay $10 or 1000RC. Also, if you're going to AC, you have to hit at least 25K RCs last year or you have to pay also for the diamond lounge.

I wasn't aware of the extra $10 to get another person in.. Do you pay right at the door? This is new top me. It was my understanding that before you had to get this cleared with a host.

If you hit Diamond Aspirations level 2 (80,000 tier credits), you get a Diamond Companion card. The companion card will allow the person(no additional guest) into the Diamond Lounge.

When I was in Vegas in September, I got two buddies into several Diamond Lounges. They did have to call someone every time, but it was always approved with no fee. For reference, I had about 17,000 tier points at the time (not a big Diamond by any stretch).

As of January 1,I have no tier points. I only had 27,000 as I had only 1 trip to CET last year. Will check I guess, at the least I will get a no.

We will have two Dimaond players and a Platinum player for five of us so I am hoping they will see fit to get someone it. Even so, that $10 thing seems a little low to slide a person in there. You can down a lot of martinis for $10!!!!!

I recall have to pay for a 3rd person years ago. But after that initial time, I realized I could just call the host to waive it. And since then, i have always been able to bring 2/3 guests with me plus myself and not have to pay any fees. I would assume it would be the same for AC. They require diamond players to have at least 25K tier points, if not you would have to pay. But I guess that can be waived too.

There's a big difference between $10 and $10 in RC's. $5 thru a slot machine will earn you 1 RC so in order to earn $10 in RC's you'll need to run $5,000 thru. Those will be some pretty expensive martinis.

I'm not sure if RCs work the same way as TCs. I know that $5 in a slot will get you 1 TC, but is it the same for RCs?

yes, TC's (tier credits) and RC's (Reward Credits) are earned at the same rate.

When I have had this situation they always cleared it with a host to bring the extra person(s). If the lounge was super busy like New Orleans they would not ask a host, they just said no.

They always cleared it with a host unless the lounge was real busy such as the one in New Orleans where they just said no.

I email my host and ask to have the extra guests added for free entry to the Diamond Lounge. Wasn't a problem.
