The best sportsbook downtown to watch games is at Plaza. Lots of big TVs with a bar and PoP Up Pizza near by.

If you'd rather do a bar instead of a book, I highly recommend the 777 brew pub inside Main Street Station. They have lots of great TVs in there, and any time football is on their tasty tasty microbrewery beers are $2 per pint. They also have good food. There's plenty of bar seating. I prefer the bar that's to the right as you enter - while this bar is not always open, the TVs there are bigger than the TVs at the main bar (to the left). If you are going with a group, there are great views from the tables too.

If that's too crowded and you're up for something off-beat, wander East Fremont and check out who has the games. Last January a buddy and I where staying at El Cortez, placed our bets there, and ended up at Insert Coin. They have a huge screen on the back wall. We got a bucket of beers for something like $10 and watched a playoff game there with maybe five or six other people in the place. Not a sports book atmosphere, it was very relaxed. Just wish our bets had paid off! You can also check out the sports book at El Cortez on game day for the $1 hot dogs, beers and soft pretzels at the food cart too.

Longbar at the D and 777 are my two main stops for playoff football.
