Looking to spend my first stay in Las Vegas off the strip to gamble at the Superbook only because they offer Lots of props on different games. I search the net and it only seems to mention the Super Bowl. Are their daily props on all sports and if so are they only player props? If not i'll book something on the strip. Thanks.

    Welcome.
For a person's first stay I really do suggest staying on the strip.
I can't say if LVH is offering something you couldn't find in any other casino on the strip.
If they happen to offer something special a quick cab ride or even the monorail makes it an easy stop.

I concur with LV Bound - stay on the strip for your first trip to Vegas. If you stay at a property on the east side of the Strip then you will have easy access to the monorail if you want to go that route. I can't answer your question regarding daily props, sorry. If any book has those props it will be the Superbook.

I always enjoyed my stays at the Westgate/Hilton great sportsbook and good videopoker all though players club could be better.

I agree with this assessment. The Strip is close enough (monorail right there, walk to the Wynn is very short). Rooms are nice and are a good value. Best sports book in Vegas (RIP Stardust). They offer the most props, and in game betting for at least one NBA game per night. You can find props on the Strip as well.

I agree if you can get a room at a comparable price on Strip, you might be better off on the strip, but if you get a good room rate, the sports book and VP at Westgate beats Strip offerings.

I stayed there when they were the Hilton, then the LVH, and then last summer when they transitioned to Westagate.. We were not happy with them last summer, many errors, but we complained, now this trip in a few weeks, we are in a comped 3 bedroom, with access to their VIP lounge.. this is after 3 days at the MGM, so we hope it will be good!

We've only been there twice and that was to see Raiding the Rock Vault. The casino was so dead and quiet that the second time I don't think we gambled. I felt guilty the first time because I won a couple hundred bucks playing a Tarzan slot just to get a drink before the show.

My goodness, every time I visit this place it has new name, stop by Monday night, I would not call it dead but they were kinda busy. I wasn't happy that I had to park my car cause valet was only taking hotel guest. Believe me its a long walk and it was cold.

When are you staying? I have only been on NFL Sundays and they have a variety of prop bets, usually more then the other big books, but nothing like Superbowl props. Also if you stayed at MGM Grand, Flamingo, Harrahs, or Ballys you will be on the strip and it is a short Monorail ride to Westagte. Although the rooms will be a lot more. The inverse is also true, you are a short monorail ride from MGM Grand, Flamingo, etc. Good luck.

See the movie "The Queen of Versailles" and you will see there is no reason to feel guilty for winning at the Westgate.
