Good luck! Bring on the quads and royals!

Was in Disney World last week; terrible mess, never again. And I often talked about the "Goofy" watch I used to have as a teenager. G/f got excited when she found one in a store. Then I asked her if it ran counterclockwise. Nope. No sale. :(

And nice work on switching your watch ahead of time. Last few vegas trips and this recent trip to Disney, I've left my watch in central time and did the math.

The watch was still set for Vegas time from our last trip, but had to adjust for DST ending. I usually save it for vacations.

Long day, no gambling, explored Luxor and Excal a bit.

Had Buca di Beppo for lunch in Georgia and supper at Excal.

Finally settling in to the room.

I,m having a hard time finding this thread with Tapstalk.

This morning we went to Excalibur for Krispy Kreme doughnuts, dropped our bags with bellhop and headed to Mandalay Bay.

Went to the Shark Reef, pretty cool, especially since we got two free tickets via myVegas.

Got our rental car this afternoon and checked in at MSS. Had the MSS seafood buffet for dinner, good but had to wait almost an hour to get in.

Took our son to see FSE and it was cold. Walked all the way down to Container Park, lots of families out.

The high line on the zip line seems to have a major flaw, a lot of people come up short and someone has to line out and pull them in. Some folks stop forty feet short of the platform and it happens to nearly half if the people.

We haven't gambled a dime yet. We plan to get some VP time in the morning and then go to Red Rock Canyon.

Another crash and burn Live TR. Using Tapatalk I had a hard time finding my TR thread, nuts.

    Here’s the highlights.

Since we had our 18yo son along we wanted to show him around. Went to Red Rock Canyon, Mt Charleston, Hoover Dam, and Valley of Fire. These places were much busier than I had seen in the past, I guess the holidays had people on the move. I loved Mt Charleston, it was really neat to see snow on the ground, the elevation change and all the trees. Notes on Hoover Dam, 1) You cannot see the dam from a car on the by-pass bridge. 2) Access to the pedestrian bridge adjacent to the by-pass bridge is from the dam access road.

Wife and son went to the Mob Museum one night and enjoyed it.

Went to the Pinball Museum, this was a lot of fun, tons of machines and a bunch from the 60s and 70s. We spent $20 total and played for 2.5 hours.

    Meals,
777 Brew Pub twice, met with Joe and Bubbakitty, great time putting names and faces to usernames.

    Dupars for lunch, always good.

Outback for ribeye and viewing the Volcano.
MSS seafood buffet, good but crowded, spent 45 minutes in line.
    Mexican at Palace Station.
Rolling Smoke, will visit again if in the area at the right time.

    MSS breakfast/brunch buffets.

    Gambling,
Played outside the plan and paid for it!
All our of gambling was at MSS, $30k coin-in over 4 days.
    JoB, quarters, $10.6k coin-in, lost $130.
    JoB, half-dollars, $7.1 coin-in, lost $310.
    5 play BP, quarters, $12.4k coin-in, lost $973.
(BP is not part of our normal play and I should have stayed away from it.)
48 scratch offs with one for $5 and three for $3, the rest $2.

Kim hit two straight flushes in the same day. On her second, I hit a straight flush myself before she was done getting her scratch off. It was neat having side-by-side machines both showing a SF!

One night while playing VP we met a lady that does stand-up comedy on the strip. The three of us played and talked for a couple of hours, I gave her one of my VMB wristbands and invited her to check out the board.

Came home on New Year’s Eve and saw snow at the Vegas airport.

Trying to figure out when we'll go back.

Took me awhile to figure out how to navigate tapatalk too.

Good report! But a $973 loss at bonus 5 play with that coin-in? Yikes! Guess you didn't get quad Aces at all...and definitely not a royal. :(

Pinball Hall of Fame is way cool. Love the history and that so many machines are playable.
