    Simple question...
Never had any play at either property (Obviously, I have an MLife card because of MyVegas; but never put any play on it)

If I dropped in and put $25k coin-in on video poker in a few hours. (Both the same, playing dollar 8/5 Bonus Poker)

Unlike a lot of other people, I think Luxor is cool, haha.

The Luxor casino is weird. It's WAY to quiet. There's basically no ceiling until the top of the pyramid. Gives it a weird feeling.

I like the Luxor but I play .25 no full pay, so I rarely play there.

Not sure what your asking here, but I am comped at the D and spend half my visits (I was in LV 12 times this year) at the D because:

    1)Money "goes" farther
2)Amount required for benefits Is "lower"
3)Within walking distance of 7-10 casinos downtown
4)Andiamo's Steakhouse is a great steakhouse.

It will depend on whether or not you and your S.O. like staying downtown with all the "*********".

I get the following comps at the D

4 free nights per month (suites if available)
    $150 per month food
    $100 per month FP (twice)
    (2) $50 match plays

the D has smaller floor space than Luxor and I'm not sure of the VP breakdown.

I got invited to NYE at the D. I am Platinum mLife but got "shut out". If I follow your posts correctly, I am even or slightly below your play totals.

PM me if you want a host contact.

Well, if the D gives 1% freeplay, that's not a bad deal...but I'd like a little more in the way of food...(Boyds Gold Card system is nice)

The D only has three restaurant's (if you count Coney Island Hot Dogs as a restaurant).

Food comps are given in vouchers, with no change given. I don't know if I could get smaller denomination vouchers, I am usually given (3) $50 vouchers.

I don't use the vouchers in the D grille because usually it's only me.

I use them at the steak house.

The D also gives cash back as well as comps. This year I picked up two $700 Tumi bags (discounted to $395) with my comp money and still have $200 in cash that I haven't taken.

There are drawbacks to being a smaller casino. mLife certainly has more flexibility (I'm sure you find it at CET).

Just looking at the numbers, you had to have some serious play to be able to earn $800 worth of comps / $400 in cash-back ($20k per days looks like it'd earn about $20 in comps with $10 in cash-back)...unless I'm missing a fact that they have a big point multiplier (I've heard they do a 3x points, but never any higher)
Playing Hard Ball, $20k per day would earn me (Playing on a 7x vP point multiplier) $233 in comps @ Boyd...

Yeah, but remember that I played there 11 trips this year.

The comp money was over the past 18 months.

You probably did the same to get Seven Stars at CET.

18 months? Hmm...that's SORTA better then...
and I'm not 7*, I just have it as my avatar, LOL.
and Diamond at CET was only $50k coin-in...which has already earned me $3000 freeplay and a ton of room comps, haha.

I find MLIFE the most difficult out of anywhere to get comps, so my vote goes to the D. But then again, I'm more of a strip person than I am freemont, so I'd prefer the luxor.

I agree with you there...as far as strictly video poker goes, I'd say the D...but the location of Luxor may be better...
