We are staying at Luxor for a Bachelor party in January and wondering about the Queen Suites that I have read about. Do they have connecting rooms with this suite? How many connect? 7 guys with 3 rooms booked hoping to $20 trick our way into those suites. Have had a lot of luck with asking for upgrades especially since this is a very slow time for vegas.

I stayed in one 5-6 years ago. Nothing fancy about them. The bathroom is large, but imagine a motel 6 bathroom stretched out. Stand up shower basic sink, but long counter. I don't remember any connecting room capabilities. The mattress was pretty thin and lower to the ground than most hotel beds.

We know not to expect anything great but just wanted a couple of adjoining rooms to relive the nights before. As long as the beds clean and shower hot a bunch of 27-30 yr olds will be fine

You CAN get a connecting room to the suite. I have a walk through video of the pyramid suite I took in Nov 2013, king though, I can try to put it on YT and link it here if you would like?

I was disappointed in the suite

Jesus those angular walls and ceiling make it claustrophobic. I couldn't breathe watching that

    Thanks for the video Demon...
My family got upgraded to a Pyramid Suite back in October (For our wedding; they were complete newb cash payers; overpriced I might add)
BUT, I didn't get to see it (my wife did; I went with my best man to walk the strip), so thanks...I think I like it.
I may hookup with Luxor and give them some play to see if I can get that room sometime...

In all honesty, you should shoot for a few tower rooms.

The pyramid is cool and all, but really dated.

I will be staying in the tower during my January trip and am going to try to get a luxury suite upgrade.

Our entire reason for staying at Luxor is to stay in the pyramid to say we have done it...... Have stayed all over the strip and just wanted to check this off the list!

Last time I had a pyramid suite the connecting room was also a suite, I do not know if all are suites but it would make sense as they are the rooms in the corners of the pyramid from my understanding. One had a king and the other 2 queens, I'm not sure if you can get a regular room connected. Bathrooms in these suites vary in size depending on where in the pyramid you are, larger bathrooms on the lower floors and a bit smaller as you go higher. I hope this helps some.

I've stayed in this room about 3 times. Never requested it, just did the $20 trick, and they gave it to us. It was nice, but has been about 5 years ago.
