Thought I'd check out Ross's; looks like a discount clothing store. I notice that Senior's day is Tuesdays. What age is a senior at this shop?

Yea Ross is a discount clothing store that has some other stuff like jewelry, luggage etc. As for the seniors day I couldn't tell you what age applies but I bet a peek at their website would.

You mention the strip location, just wondering if you are referring to the Ross near the MGM. There is a much bigger Ross north strip near the Riviera, I know this because my girlfriend hits that location every trip.:ssst:

Thanks for the reply; I already checked their website, but seniors discounts are not mentioned. Anyone else know?

All Shoppers 55+ head on into your local Ross Store on Tuesdays to receive a 10% discount on in-season, name-brand apparel, accessories and footwear for the entire family.

Thanks Snidely, there are advantages to being over 55!

    Ah...my favorite store!
I prefer the one by the Riv and yes, 55 is the magic age!

My girl got home today from her solo and only brought home 3 items from Ross. I am thinking she must have felt sick, usually it's a carry on luggage full.

I've been pleasantly surprised by the prices at both Ross' locations. Thought for sure the one by MGM would have strip prices but it didn't.

As you are from Canada, I'd describe Ross as being a lot like Winner's

I need to stop by Ross when we're there this week. I went to the 2 near me here looking for lightweight, short sleeve collared shirts. The only men's shirts they have in stock look like they were meant for the Alaska market. Must not realize people in the NW dress in layers. Go outside put a couple layers on, come inside take em off, depending on the temperature.
Maybe a warmer climate will have what I'm looking for.

Thanks for all the info. I enjoyed my trip to Ross's on the Strip. Wow, what a lot of stuff! Bought a blouse, sweater and handbag. Hint: allow yourself lots of time to look through the racks and racks of clothes.

Have to check that senior discount at the Ross's outside of AC. Thanks for the heads up . Mrs. swears by that store,I think it's better for womens wear, never saw any mens stuff I wanted to buy .
When she's in there I usually walk next door to Sports Authority.
