I was looking forward to trying this place after seeing it's name pop up in a few threads. I do not know if this is news but I did not see a thread devoted to it so I figured I would post just so people do not waste time walking there.

Wow.. No wonder it was closed. My wife wanted Mexican food on 12/1 so we left downtown to head to this place. We got there and it was closed.I was wondering why it would be closed so early.

Charleston is still open, even though it is much smaller and less seating. I went there last night and the food as just as good.

So true. The only reason I ever went to that area was to eat there, and went next door and would get back souvenirs for back home. Not anymore considering I can buy same things downtown.

On 3 different trips I said, I'll go next time. Now it's too late. I've heard nothing but great things about Tacos El Gordo.

Maybe they'll open in a new location where you can order everything in one line instead of 3 different lines.
