Every time I read something written by ken2v, I think, "I bet that's what I would say if I were smart".

Who is your favorite VMB commenter?

I agree with you 100%... he and I joined about the same time and I used to bicker back and forth with him on things, but then I realized he knew really his shit and you're right, he has just a ton of info and knowledge.

I also really like it when SCO shows up... the board can get stale at times with us arguing over Downtown vs. Strip, tipping, resort fees, etc. and then she always shows up with some thought provoking questions that "rescues" the day! The type of posts that allow each of us to express our own opinion, but in a way that's almost always non- argumentative. Love Sco!

And who doesn't LOVE Joe? One of these days I'm determined to meet him at the Boar's Head Bar... he just seems like the likable, lovable Uncle or cool next-door neighbor.

Lastly, I've really come to enjoy Kickin's posts... some time ago he called me "the kinda guy who reminds the teacher she forgot to assign homework right as the bell goes off" or something like that. I absolutely admire a good slam and he often has them, in addition to being incredibly knowledgeable and insightful when we start talking about capital structure, profitability and balance sheets.

I got a couple of private messages from him about a month ago, after he left the Forum.

I also love me some SCO as well. She has a very calming personality and asks many Vegas questions.
My favorite is "If your Vegas room could scream to you, what would it say"?

I love everybody. Even the people I don't like. I'm a sophisticated woman with complex emotions. (At least that's what a few of the voices in my head tell me.)

Anyhow...I don't want to leave anybody out. But, there are 2 who stand out as special for me. Sco and Dewey. Their advice has never steered me wrong.

Sco - Knows how to get opinions

Joe - I think he is me living in another dimension. Also because we share the same opinion about certain policies.

    LolaDoggie - Fearless

Chess - Consider the odds that we both live in the same area that is unknown to the rest of the world

Frank67 - Has the same warped sense of humor as me

Any and all posters that remember me from TA. I WAS SCREWED!!

Okay, this was pretty thought provoking because it made me think of lots of folks that I really enjoy (and a very few that aggravate me but that is for another time - :wink2:).

It boiled down to one absolute favorite and that is JOE. I have changed the way I do Vegas and it is largely due to his wisdom and willingness to share so many wonderful tips about Downtown and MSS in particular. He has also reached out via PM to give me personal advice and I am very appreciative of that! It is folks like Joe that makes VMB more than an internet resource. It is a community and I quite like it here :)

Did I mention that he is also pretty damn funny?

I learned the most about hosts and managing table game comps from Shifters comments over the years.

    Thanks Shifter!

I don't know many people here that well, but there are very few whose thoughts and opinions I don't value.

This is one of the very cleanest and most enjoyable chat boards I've run into!

I have to go with WESTIE!!! And I can't believe it took 2 pages for his name to come up.

Dining choices in Vegas are important to me and I can always count on Westie's weekly restaurant reviews.

    Hey man, thanks!
