Hey guys! I'm Bella. I'm in my early 20s and live in Oregon =D
I found these boards like right after my last vegas trip but I guess never posted. My next trip (#3 in about a year) is coming up in 1.5 weeks so I have been reading these boards like mad.

Late summer 2013, I made my first trip to Vegas as an adult (I spent lots of time in vegas as a kid but I don't think that counts) and I had so much fun. I really didn't do any research at all and my friends did all the reservations and everything. Sooo, we stayed at excal... hahaha (sooo gross). But it was fine, we spent 95% of our time at other casinos partying anyway. I actually didn't even gamble at all that first trip and I'm pretty sure I was drunk 24/7. Whatever though, it set this *thing* for vegas in my mind because i had such an amazing time and i've been obsessed ever since. I'm sure you guys know what I'm talking about. I finally had a chance to come back to vegas this past labor day where my friends and I stayed at the palazzo. It was slightly milder this second time around mainly due to my friend who would not stop complaining nonstop, but I got to gamble and see more of the "sights", like the fountains and stuff. We also had a great meal at delmonico's which was fun.

I am going next Dec 11-15. I really don't know what to expect since it's not summer (no pool parties :'( ) but I know it'll be a great time regardless. We are staying at Planet Hollywood. We haven't really made any concrete plans which is kinda why I've been lurking around this site. Lots of great stuff! =D

Anyway now that you know my life story, i'll shut up. Hiiiiii.

    Welcome!

Planet Hollywood should be a good place for you to have fun. A little more fun vibe than palazzo in my opinion but not as nice. Have fun!

PH caters to the younger crowd in their style of music. I usually stay there because I feel it is more upbeat. It doesn't have a club, but if you want to go, there are plenty of other places for that. It used to have a club, but I don't think they were able to get the right groove into it.

I don't know if Britney is there during that time, but Jersey Boys next door at Paris is a great show about Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. They are before your time (mine too), but I'm sure you have heard many of their songs.

Koi is a pretty good sushi place at PH, but I love Tao at Venetian for both the food and atmosphere. And you can get into the club for free if you dine there. Get the miso-glazed Chilean sea bass if you go there. Julian Serrano in Aria across the street has great Spanish tapas at a more reasonable price than many other Vegas restaurants. There's an unmarked hallway next to Blue Ribbon Sushi at Cosmopolitan that leads you into a pizza place that has good greasy and salty New York-style pizza. People call it Secret Pizza, but I'm not sure it has a name. PH also has their new Pin-Up Pizza next to Pink's Hot Dogs out front. I like Pin-Up because it's not as greasy, and their slices are huge.

Across the street at Bellagio is either Palio Coffee House (I love their coffee drinks) or Jean Phillipe for pastries and coffee. Aria also has a Jean Phillipe.

Gambling at the PH Pleasure Pits is always fun, especially after 8:00PM when they turn up the music and have the dancers on the stage in the middle of the pit. The younger crowd also makes it more lively.

Remember to use your Player's Club Card whenever you gamble. The Caesars properties use Total Rewards cards and are good at PH, Paris, Caesars, Cromwell, Harrah's, Flamingo, Linq, Rio, Margaritaville, and O' Shea's. All the MGM properties use M Life cards. Venetian/Palazzo uses Grazie, Wynn/Encore uses the Red Card, and Cosmo has their own card. Some times these places give offers for free rooms to entice you to come, but you have to get their card so they know who you are.

You probably know many of the things I mentioned and may not have even asked, but I like to give the info whether you need it or not.

    Have lots of fun!!!

    Thanks everyone!! :)
I am super excited. Thanks for all the tips Aces & Eights! I liked the Palazzo because it was so nice but it was always such a long walk to go anywhere it felt like. It's possible I'm just lazy. :p

Frank, I like BJ. But I'll play slots too if I'm feeling it. The friend I am with this time is intimidated by table games even though he always wants to play them (or so he says). So, I'll have to fix that for him, lol

Welcome! You'll love Planet Hollywood I think. Especially the location being so central although the trek down to Palazzo is a bit of a walk but good exercise anyways. If you have any questions about PH, feel free. Its my main home base in Vegas.
