Electronic baccarat--is it fair game

in past weekend I played in winstar world casino electronic baccarat (EB) ..there is a monitor there explaining that it is same as any shuffled live games..no machine magic happens...however I did not see any regular bac players playing on it..I spent 20 hours on bac In 2 days there and played EB for 3-4 hours...interestingly I won all my big bets (300-500) there...but lost on live tables

If it is that fair..why nobody is playing there...? Are there EB tables in vegas or other big casinos..what do u think about them..in winstar the table max is higher (5k) on electronic bac than live table (3k)

 

I've seen it at winstar and played it at first. They was charging ante and then pulled the ante on the EB so should be better but I think people don't trust the EB game is the reason.

I have not been up there in a while but the last time the max was $1k not $5k going to have to see.

 

Might just be the crowd that was there that night?

At my local casino there are lots of Asian gamblers and the electronic baccarat game is almost always full and sometimes gets a few big bettors playing (and its not a shortage of tables - they have two sections of table games in the casino just to baccarat: one for low to mid level players and another for high level players).

I've seen some in Las Vegas at the MLife casinos.

 

Cosmo use to have electronic bacc but I think they got rid of it.

Palazzo had stadium bacc.

I personally don't like to play electronic bacc or bj. At least in a live game, you feel like you didn't get cheated. It's all personal preference thou. I also avoid ez bacc, i hate pushing on a dragon 7. My friend loves the game because he's too cheap to pay commission.

 

The way the table pays out is based upon the gaming rules in each state. Nevada requires that any machine that displays cards must allow the player to win at true odds. Most machines will shuffle every hand but it will be at true odds.

I live in Indiana and our machines pay out like slot machines. The outcome is generally preset once you hit deal. I have seen some wild stuff on electronic Blackjack where hitting 20s results in getting an Ace and staying on a 6 or 7 the dealer will bust, etc.

 

Maybe baccarat players just like to play with live cards.
