I am following nfl for THE first year and tot à question About what i think was à sneaky foul just to injure à player

4th quarter just started receveir catches the ball and when hè lands à defender takes him down, no problem till then but you can see THE defender elbowing THE Guy in THE neck wich hè did on purpose.

Do THE nfl rewatch games and give penalty's after THE game like in soccer?
Or if refs don t see it all Goes?

    Was THE ravens game btw

    Ty

The NFL will also review specific plays at the request of teams. The NFL can and will fine a player for something that occurred on the field and was not necessarily penalized during the game. There was another play this weekend in which a player for the Lions went directly at the knees of a Patriots player, he will probably be fined. Teams also ask for rule clarifications on from the leagu with regard to specific plays, I think I've read that teams typically send in about 20 plays from a game for the leagues review.
