Anyone going to this show? My hubby wants to go. I do not have tickets yet. I was looking for some advise on the venue. It looks to be a rather large arena, not sure how many seats? I would probably only be purchasing the lower price tickets. Anyone ever sit in the "200's" sections? If so how is the view and the sound? Just something special to do when we are in L.V. Never show Stevie before, but I am sure it would be a great show. Hubby mentioned also getting tickets to see Justin Timberlake...just for fun, but his "cheap seats" were like $140. That is a bit much fora "just for fun" show.

If it's in the MGM Garden Arena, it's a very good venue for one that size. I estimate 12-14 thousand seats. Sightlines are good. 200's are fine. Sound system (Jimmy Buffett) was very good.

Really wanted to but nobody else wanted to or could. Saw Tom Jones there and it was very good.

Steve Wonder was the featured entertainer for the grand opening of the Paris casino many years ago.
We waited 2 hours for him to arrive. He was tired and had to take a nap, but he was sorry.
Show was OK. Half the people left before he finally arrived.
I hope he puts on a better show for you. And arrives on time :)

I had just the opposite experience two years ago. Stevie Wonder was the NYE concert at The Cosmopolitan. Tickets weren't cheap and were all GA/standing. He had an opening act but he came on around 11 and performed for more than 2 hours. Could have been close to three because when I left after 1 am he was still at it; I was just too tired to stand up anymore. But the concert was fabulous; second only in my life (I'm 50 years young) to Celine, who I have seen in concert 4-5 times.

Meant to add that I too am interested in seating as I want to see JT on 1/1 or 1/2 and then Barry Manilow there in April 2015. :D

I haven't been to the MGM arena so can't help with that, but we saw Stevie at Mohegan Sun a few years ago from the upper portion of the arena, and he put on an absolutely fabulous show. It was impossible to sit still as the music and his enthusiasm were so infectious it even got DH and I (and our son who was 17 at the time) on our feet for 2 solid hours. It made for a great memory and I would love to see him again! Go for it :)

Just bought my ticket for JT. Pumped that I'll be attending his concert on the 1st day of the new year!
